In and Above the Highlands takes place in the Scandinavian Mountains, where Web and his misfit siblings, Buzzard and Bloom, get into all sorts of misadventures. They stumble upon an ancient clan rich with history and culture and finally feel as though they belong. However, life isn't as whimsical as it seems, as the trio find themselves trying to get used to their new surroundings, new clan, and face dangers they never thought possible.
