Yesterday, after getting home from work, my BF and I were getting stuff out of the car as huge rain clouds rolled across the sky. Suddenly, a huge bolt of lightening flashed followed by the loudest roll of thunder I’ve ever heard in my life. I swear it sounded like it was right in top of us and it scared the shit out of me.

I yelled “Jesus Christ”. My BF looked at me and without missing a beat said “did you think you were about to meet him?” His sense of humor is why I fell in love with him.
