I haven’t really been posting much on here outside of IG stories. Lately I’ve just been working on small pieces using color pencils on paper as a way to process everything going on. Hello! @tijuanazinefest was recently invited to table at @shortrunseattle, I’m really excited to share the works of friends from the Tijuana / San Diego border region. I’ve never done this before, and am a little nervous, but we started a GoFundMe to help fund the trip!✨😮 We’re use to funding these kinds of things on our own but we believe in community support. I took a comic making workshop with Tijuana based artist Charles Glaubitz. Through the process I developed a comic in zine format. It's an 11 page single color risograph out of a run of 50 printed at Casa de El Hijo del Ahuizote in Mexico City. I also made a two color gold and blue riso print to go with the zine.
