8 yrs ago, at the age of 20, I started a blog called 2BITCHEZDEEP while working as a retail manager at the mall. What started off as a personal style diary between 2 friends eventually snowballed into a fashion & lifestyle blog which garnered over 200k hits each month. It was completely mind-blowing. I couldn’t wrap my head around why so many girls took to our style, cared about our posts & liked what we liked. 2BD became my obsession. I use to spend sleepless nights scouring the internet for dope fashion posts to share with our readers. All I did was eat, sleep & 2BD. It became more than just a place where I shared my OOTD, nails, DIYs & fashion inspo. It was my therapy. I was dealing with a lot of personal family issues at that time and it was the ONE place where I felt in total control. It was my own world.. me & my girls. I started to focus on building the 2BD brand, what it stood for, who it represented & made sure it was ALIVE in each post. Between the sayings, “Bad Bitchez Bomb First”, “Which Bitch Want What”, “Break Necks & Stunt On Hoes” and with the witty sign offs after each post I started to formulate the DNA of the 2BD brand. It represented the unity of females. Total female empowerment. And the simple fact that girls from 'around the way' liked bougie shit too 💅🏽 I would always DIY runway pieces that inspired me aka the things I couldn’t afford and the endless positive feedback led to me gathering enough confidence to start a mini accessories line through 2BD. I handmade all of 2BD shoes, bags, leather gloves, sunglasses, dresses, custom pieces and it wasn’t until two women, who to this day, I'll never forget (@_fatima.b & @juliehardee ) for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to share my vision with Nicki who wore my 2BD Hellraiser Spike Boots at Summer Jam /Killa Klutch on BET & Rihanna, who wore my 2BD Metal Bow Gloves in her Rude Boy Video. You gave a young woman who stayed up late nights in her bedroom gluing, screwing, piercing, sewing & designing her start. And for that, I will be eternally grateful ❤️
