Exactly. "Sovereign Russia" is Russian propagandist for "Russia with the unrestrained right to violate other countries' sovereignty". It's always the "right of might" with Russia.
Same with "multipolar world". Russians don't mean "a world where we aren't all dependednt on the west and can coexist peacefully". They mean "a world where we, Russia, get to be a pole".
I think the sad reality is that the narrow majority (at the very least) of anti establishment types on both the right and left just hate Ukraine and Ukrainians as a concept. Not just a Ukraine that's against Russia or on the side of the West, but the idea of a free and independent Ukrainian state. It's something they vehemently hate and wish wouldn't exist, a lot of them just won't admit it.
They can't forgive us Maidan and our continuous striving for democracy. We need to fail to validate their opinions.
Many such cases, I can think at least about one here.

Roger Fucking Waters. I still remember how in 2014, right after the annexation of Crimea and the start of the Donbas war, he came to Bulgaria to a concert and lectured us about how "those fockaz" (the west) are using us to rile us up and use us as pawns against poor poor innocent Russia.

I really can and will blame the 9-5 for everything. "We're in a loneliness epidemic" well, we have to spend a third of our day interacting with people in a professional way that makes forming real friendships difficult and then we're peopled out by the time we're done. "People are eating more and more unhealthily" people have to spend more than a third of their day doing work related tasks and they don't want to spend their tiny amount of free time making food. "People aren't involved in their local communities" after spending more than a third of their day doing work related things people are tired and also all those community events take place during normal working hours. "People need to get more hobbies" after spending more than a third of their day working, people are TIRED and don't want to do anything that takes yet more energy. "Literacy is dying" to maintain your critical thinking skills you need to read/watch things that make you think and after spending more than a third of your day doing work related stuff you are TIRED and don't want to expend even more brainnpower. "People need to get outside more" People. Are. TIRED. Because they have to spend all of their time working or preparing for work or recovering from work or doing all the chores they couldn't stay on top of because of work. I can blame fucking anything on having to work, it is truly the root of all fucking evil.

Once you factor in commute times (which even for short distances can be grotesquely inflated due to the fact that so many people are all commuting at the same time, but that's a different conversation) many people are actually devoting upwards of 10-12 hours a day on "work related tasks."
Yeah, the biggest issue about 9-5 is that it's not 9-5. It's 9-6 with the mandatory lunch break (which is only really 15 minutes for eating and the rest is work) and the commute is 1 hour in every direction on average. So more like 8-7.
the issue with growing up in the 2000s and 2010s was like there was this really big push toward "accepting your weirdness" overall but they meant like idk wearing mismatched socks or something not being tangibly beyond the norm in any way shape or form

We call it "the blood tax". Serious historians, including from my country, conclude that part of the boys did reach high positions and at one point the entire imperial court was speaking South Slavic languages but in popular consciousness, this meme serves to illustrate the perception of the "blood tax".

I think the thing that has to be remembered about slaves (and, more broadly, non-enslaved but legally disenfranchised minorities) having opportunities to reach high station is why they were allowed those opportunities: rulers wanted subordinates who were wholly dependent on them.

The döner guys at my local joint in Berlin handing me the döner prepared just the way I wanted it before my turn's even come in the queue was the highest honor I could get
I was a regular at the on-campus McDonalds for all four years.
