“I mean, I don’t think I would have really tried much if we hadn’t talked about it though. You want some help?” Ian helped him, a few times, and it was time for him to return the favor. Ian looked a bit exhausted and James was sure the help would be nice.

“Uh- sure. If you’ve got nothing to do it would be great. I’m taking boxes down to the carpool. There’s a truck down there with some movers who are helping pull apart my furniture upstairs. I’m basically putting it all in the truck with the important ones in my car,” he explained to the male.

James watched him put the book away. “Yeah, that sounds good. Privacy would be nice sometimes. I honestly don’t know the last time I was home with my roommates though.” He shrugged and looked at the dog again, petting his head before looking back at Ian when he said he’d miss everyone. “Well.. since I guess I won’t really see you again.. Thanks..If it wasn’t for you I don’t think I’d be friends with my brother right now.”

“Oh? No man, that work was all done by you. You just needed someone to talk to. How are you both going?” Ian asked, picking up the box. “I’ve got to get this down to the car - got plenty more to get done before the movers start pulling the furniture out to the truck.”

James nodded. “That’s pretty cool.. I can see how would be a problem. Well… I hope you find an apartment that isn’t gross or anything. The Oaks are pretty cool so I hope you find one like that, unless you hate it here,” he shrugged a little, handing him a book that was still on the floor. He had a tendency to ramble a little when he was upset.

“I’m looking somewhere a little more private - no roommates this time.” To tell the truth his original plan was for him and Charlie to get his own. “I don’t hate it here though. It was nice but... it’s time for a change I think. A bit more privacy.” Ian ran a hand through his hair. “Thanks,” he said as he took the book and put it in the box. “I’ll miss everyone here actually.”

James thought about it and nodded again, petting Neptune’s head and helping him pick up his things. “That’s so cool though. Amazing opportunity.” Upset or not, seeing Ian get a job like that was going to be such a good opportunity to make his life even that much better. “So you’re like.. just leaving right now? I mean I guess you’re packing up and shit so that would make sense..”

“See the department have a position to fill and need it right away so I’ve sort of got to get done there and look at apartments and just.. yeah I’m leaving right away..” Ian put the books that had fallen out of the box back in. “If I could wait... honestly I probably wouldn’t end up going. I’d talk myself out of it.”

James nodded. “Yeah? That’s not too far away.” He wasn’t going to let it show that he was mildly upset. While Ian and himself hadn’t hung out or talked much, the talks they did have meant something. If it wasn’t for Ian who knows if he would have actually talked to his brother or not. James hadn’t put too much thought into it until Ian talked him into it. “Must be a pretty good job to move to Ohio. What the hell is in Ohio?”

“Columbus Zoo which is like the best in the country,” Ian explained. “I’ve been offered to lead the breeding department rather than just been a senior vet in it,” he explained. “There are a lot more animals to work with and better funding, not to mention the park has started to expand into a theme park and it’s also part aquarium so lot more chances.” Ian cleared his throat. He bent down to pick up a few boxes, not Neptune was sitting with his tail wagging.

James was planning on going for a little walk, annoyed with sitting inside for another day, angry he couldn’t go for a ride somewhere. He saw the familiar face, frowning a little when he saw a box full of books all over the floor and a happy dog sitting there waiting. “Ian? You okay?” James offered a hand to help him up. “Are you leaving?”

Ian sat up at the sound of someone. “Uh- I’ve had better days,” he commented as he took James’ hand to get up. He straightened, adjusting his shirt as he did. Ian cleared his throat. “Uh.. yeah.” He looked down at his feet then back up. “I got a job offer... It’s in Ohio.” Ian swallowed, hoping he wouldn’t be asked about his now exboyfriend.

Ian was taking several trips up and down the building to put boxes in his car and meet with the movers who were organizing his furniture. His dog, off his leash, followed every step curious as to what was happening. There was pain on my male’s face, the move no longer exciting to him. Ian was a bit lost, now knowing Charlie wasn’t going to come with him. Was he making a mistake here? Ian was so lost in his thought he missed a step and went right over Neptune. He crashed onto the hard flooring, and in that moment gave up. Laying there he sighed heavily. “You okay boy?” He asked, glancing at the dog who seemed perfectly fine. Ian sighed again. He still had to get up, but was unsure how many more trips up and down stairs he could take. Why did he own so many books?

Help me leave | Ian & Naomi

Reality hit Ian as he found his way to Naomi’s apartment. He didn’t know if the girl would be there or not, she’d been busy with work a lot lately. He had to try convince the girl to help him out, because right now his heart was breaking and he didn’t know how he could get to Ohio on his own. Ian had decided to drive - with Neptune in tow he had a lot to transport.

Columbus Zoo was one of the leading zoos in the country. Having expanded into a theme back he would be given new opportunities. Ian couldn’t believe the offer - to run his own department. He’d no longer have to check with his boss before hand, he’d be the boss. The zoo had over 7000 animals and he wanted to meet every single one of them. This is what Ian had been working for his whole life - and because of that he could understand why Charlie wanted to stay. That didn’t mean he wasn’t dying inside. 

Ian’s hand knocked against his best friend’s door. This wasn’t going to be any easier.

Charlie blushed as he remembered their time at the club. “I was kind of intoxicated when that happened. But it was fun.” He whispered as he leaned down to brush his lips against Ian’s. Letting out a soft noise as he felt Ian’s hips rock upwards against his. “I swear, if they catch us, I’m moving in to your room and making you live here to suffer the embarrassment.” He mumbled as he rocked his own hips downwards against his boyfriends.

“Mmm and what about the time in the hotel... you against the window... anyone could look up and see you. Or the people could have walked out onto their balcony...” Ian muttered against Charlie’s plump lips. His moved his head, kissing along the male’s jaw. “Admit it... you love the idea of being caught... of being seen... of the world knowing what I can do to you..” Ian breathed hotly into the male’s ear, his hands sliding under the male’s pants to cup his ass. “I can make you fall apart... and bring you to your highest peeks...” Ian gently nibbled at Charlie’s earlobe.

Charlie bit his lip as he grinned widely. He looked around and noticed that both Rania and Sammy’s doors were closed, meaning they were in deep sleep since it was quite late. “My, my, Hawth. Didn’t know you were that type of person.” He giggled as he grabbed Buzz from Ian and kissed his head as he walked towards his room to lay him down on the bed before making his way back to the living room, closing the door of his bedroom behind. “What if someone catches us?” He asked with an excited whisper as he straddled Ian on the couch.

Ian sat up a little, watching Charlie walk away. “You better be coming back,” he said softly, not wanting to yell in case it woke the others. If it woke the others it would all be over. Ian waited there, excitement building as Charlie returned. His hands slid up over the male’s legs as he was straddled. Even in the dim light he could see the thrill in the male’s eyes. “Didn’t stop you at The Mid,” he whispered, reminding him of the time Charlie got them off in a booth. Ian rocked his hips up, seeking friction. “Only one way to find out.”

“You have a good point there, which makes me not want to fight you on keeping something hidden about you. Thought we’d literally become besties the other night,” he said mockingly, following the joking tone of the conversation, although he had to give it to Ian about making good decisions and knowing how to meet someone. “Did it work or did you scare the father away first?” Aiden asked honestly curious. “What? You’re scary, no matter if you don’t want to admit it,” he commented with a chuckle. Aiden let out a groan just to think about his work, rubbing his face with both of his hands. “I work with my father– or for my father? I don’t even know anymore. I hate it. 9 to 4 is still too much. I’d take 12 to 4, though.”

“Aww I’m sorry,” Ian pat the male’s shoulder, “but Naomi is my best friend. She’s a cop. She will fight you for that title. You can be ‘thing 2′ to her ‘thing 1′,” he said playfully. Ian was glad they were getting along so well though, he hadn’t made an instant friend in some time. “What-” Ian gasped “I’m not scary!” He looked bewildered. “I sing to Selena Gomez in the lobby on my way back from the gym. How is that guy considered scary?” He asked, blinking. It was true. Every so often you can find Ian singing along to his music, dancing around like an idiot. If you passed him you’d probably get sung to just for the hell of it. “12 to 4 doesn’t pay rent though,” Ian pointed out to the male.

Charlie was about to make his way towards the kitchen when he heard Ian’s voice. He giggled and looked down at him. “I’ve always been small, I don’t know what you’re talking about shrinking.” He said with a grin, reaching down to poke Ian’s nose. “I’m very hungry, since our family nap lasted more than 5 minutes.” He gave Ian a pointed look before blushing softly at his choice of words. “Oh you weren’t? Was there something else I was supposed to take care of while being on top of you?” Charlie asked with a grin as he grabbed onto Ian’s finger that was still holding him by the pants.

Ian sucked on his lower lip. “Well if you move Buzz maybe you can come back and find out,” he breathed out. Ian feeling a bit turned on just by the innocence his boyfriend was displaying. It was weird how Charlie turned him on playing both innocence and dominance. “I know something else that can fill you up...” Oh he was laying it on thick. Ian didn’t look away from his boyfriend, didn’t check to see what Sammy or Rania was doing in the apartment or if there was anything else he should worry about.
