the other day i forgot the date, the full date; the day, the month, and the year. the young years of our lives are spent diligently writing the date down several times a day and I was curious to see how much this grounds us and if it can make time feel less slippery and ever marching on. so i made this sheet this week and left it on my desk. every time i thought of it i would jot down a quick little doodle, a few words - random thoughts, things I overheard on the train, or little reminders to jog memories of my days - next to that day’s date in lieu of a math worksheet or an expository prompt. it seems to have helped...
