“are you sure no one saw us come in here?”
“yeah, now are you going to let me kiss you or just stand here smelling all this bleach?”
monoma and shinsou have a secret relationship but occasionally during school they risk getting caught by giving into their hormones and confiding in the janitor’s closet
i think shinsou in his 2nd year would have the bad tendency to overwork himself to catch up to his peers n his classmate in class b (hopefully) n also his bf (definitely) is always there to aid him afterwards <3

Stop I love it
EraserJoke is literally such an underrated ship that gets so much undeserved hate and I don't understand. Most of the hate I see for the ship seems to either stem from misogyny, some weird fetishization of MLM relationships, or infantilization of Aizawa's character.
I've seen people hate on EraserJoke because Joke is a woman and Aizawa is a man, therefore making it a "straight" ship, and all "straight" ships are automatically forced and bad, even though a person (or in this case, character) being straight doesn't automatically make them or their relationship(s) bad or unhealthy. It also ignores the fact that people can be bi and/or ace and be in a "straight" relationship.
I've seen people hate on EraserJoke because Joke is "getting in the way" of EraserMic. There's really no need to pit two characters against each other or tear down another character just to lift your ship up. Let's be honest, in fandom spaces this usually happens to women. The woman is a perceived threat to the popular gay ship and as a result gets demonized. It just reeks of misogyny to me.
I've seen people hate on Joke and EraserJoke both because Joke having a crush on Aizawa and showing interest in him is somehow a bad or predatory thing. This one is more funny to me and insanely hyocritical considering, like, 99% of the fandom wants to fuck Aizawa, so a woman canonically showing interest in him shouldn't be a bad thing.
That, and her flirting with him isn't predatory, I really wish people would stop throwing that word around and skewing their scenes and character to fit their narrative. When Joke shows up, she teases Aizawa and he's visibly annoyed, but not only does he 1.) Sit near her during the Exams, which he didn't have to do, but he also 2.) agreed to a joint training between hers and his class, which is again, something he didn't have to do or agree to if she actually made him uncomfortable.
Aizawa canonically gets annoyed and acts distant with basically everyone he cares about, from Mic and Midnight to his class. If it's okay for the others to grate on his nerves, tease him, and otherwise annoy him, I don't see how it's wrong or "predatory" for Joke to do the same. It's just a double standard unfairly aimed at her because people don't like that she's paired with Aizawa or that her interest in him is actually canon.
Aizawa is a grown ass man who's blunt as hell and has been shown time and time again to take no one's bullshit. Does it really make sense for his character to continue to be around Joke and actively set up training sessions with her if he legitimately hated her or if she was actually predatory? No, Aizawa acts on logic, he wouldn't find it logical to keep her or anyone else around if he actually hated their presence.
It's one thing to just not like a ship, it's another thing to relentlessly bash it and make wild claims about it and/or the character(s) involved, especially without adding appropriate tags so fans of the ship can filter out unwanted hate.
Basically:
It’s been a million years since I have run into anymore eraserjoke discourse, probably because I hate that kind of fandom toxicity, but really this hits the mail on the head. Joke is a solid (if not forgotten 😭) character and Aizawa is canonically distant with everyone because so many people he has gotten close to are ripped from him. Jokes personality is the kind that is a go getter so of course there will be some push and pull with it. Either way this is a good post and I love this ship.
