South African Taxi Ride

With music blaring loud enough that I think it loosened some organs in my chest, I ride the taxi in the West Coast of South Africa.

Despite the loud music, over used car horn and questionable driving techniques, this relatively cheap form of transport makes for a memorable ride.

Psycho Rabbit

This is the first time I've created a tutorial on drawing a character so please forgive me if it's a little rough on the edges. Tools: 1. HB pencil 2. 3 color pencils (for adding detail in the end) 3. A good eraser Note: I made the entire drawing including the shadowing with an hb pencil only, using the color pencils for effects at the end. We start with basic outlines, I highlighted the first few images with a red line due to the poor quality of the images (sorry about that), you can follow along by viewing and copying the images I've posted as they are pretty self explanatory. When you reach the shadowing part of the psycho rabbit you can use any shadowing technique you've learned or google some techniques on shadowing, its not as hard as some people make it out to be, I also use my finger to smudge adding shadow and depth to the character. Lastly I used some color pencils (water color pencils to be precise) for the (cycloneX) weaponized arm, teeth, and eyes. I sometimes like using a little color in my drawings, just a little not too much, for either highlighting a specific area or subtle detail. Here's a drawing I did of a Cuban musician. I kept the drawing black and white as I'm a big fan of b&w drawings, although I also like the use of subtle color or using color to highlight a particular part of the art.
