“Yeah, I didnt get it at first too.” Natsu smiled over at Lyon.

“But I worked it out eventually. He wanted me to know that I could do anything if I put my mind to it… and I guess a mountain wasnt that big of a thing for a Dragon anyway.”

"Yeah.. I still don't get it." He responded, tilting his face.  "Wait did you even have a brain as a child?!" Lyon asked trying to make a joke and without realising, in a blink of an eye he had stripped.

Natsu listened to Lyon speak, shrugging a little before thinking about what he had asked. “I dunno’. He told me I had to take down a mountain once… and just stand in fire and stuff to get used to it.”

Lyon started to squint his eyes, confussed of what Natsu just replied. "Huh? A mountain, what did he mean by that?!"

He thought to himself 'Who does this Igneel think he is? Making a little kid stand in a fire?'

“Nothin’, didnt say anything.” Natsu replied quickly, happy that the other male had not heard him.

“Yeah…. I still think its weird that she made you take your clothing off. You dont do it as much as he does then?”

"Ehh, what ever." cursing the dragon slayer under his breath.

"It was apart of the training and I wanted to be the best so I went along with it, but I still don't know why she made us strip.. What about with you training under Igneel? Did you have to do anything weird?" The white headed male was very curious.

“I - maybe did more than that…” Natsu muttered under his blush, hoping that the other didnt hear him but seeing the quietness of the area.

“But at least I dont take of my clothes every chance I get!” Natsu spoke out a little loudly, hoping to get back on the offensive and distract away from his last comment.

"Huh, did you say something?" He noticed the young mages lips move but didn't hear anything. 

"It's a habit! I blame my bloody teacher baka! I'm not as bad as Gray though!" Silently screaming inside of his head, wanting to punch the other mage for what he just said to him.

“Yeah, thats true.” Natsu agreed, though he wasnt sure of Lyon’s story exactly he figured something must have happened to him as a kid to want to train with Ur in the first place. 

Natsu blinked a couple of times at Lyon’s exclamation. “Uh, no… damn, you ice-mages are all perverts.” Natsu added with a small playful smirk.

"Us perverts? I have respect for women, but I heard you had your head right in between Lucy's cleavage in public!" Lyon pointed out, as he noticed Natsu started to blush. 

"Sure I might have juicy, dirty thoughts of mages but I don't go around sticking my head in their cleavage or genitalia!"

Natsu glanced over with a smile noticing that Lyon was trying to keep his laughter in, he figured the guy should laugh more often. 

“He saw some pretty bad stuff though, didnt he?” Natsu mumbled, not that he cared about that, nope, not at all. “Harden him up? Like how?”

"Well I guess he did, but still we have all had our own sad stories from our past." He pointed out, making sure Natsu would hear him.

"You know, make him tough, make him a man! He was always sobbing, it was annoying. Wait.. WHAT DO YOU THINK I MEANT?"

Natsu groaned as Lyon started to ramble on about Juvia, shaking his head a little but letting the ice-mage speak, knowing from experience not to stop someone when they were on a tangent like this. 

“Yeah, we go out sometimes. We mostly end up trashin’ the place we end up goin’ though… What was he like as a kid anyway, he doesnt talk about it much.”

"Ah at least he has some type of social life now.." He giggled, covering his mouth with his smooth hands, trying to keep the laughter in. 

"Gray as a kid? He wasn't much.. He was a sook, a cry baby. I was a little mean to him, sure.. Though I was only trying to harden him up!"

“Nothin’ to strive for? Things been going that bad for you lately?”

“The Ice-Bastard is fine, same old, same old.”

"Well I guess I could of used Juvia as a perfect thing to strive for, her love." He started to ramble on about Juvia and every detail about her.

"Of course he is, he isolates himself all the time.. Does he ever go out with you guys when you all aren't on missions? He never socialized as a kid.."

"Ehh really? You're just hungry?" Though he was not somehow surprised, it was Natsu after all.
