Day 5 (march 1, 2018) (thursday) Time flies so fast. It felt like yesterday when I felt so nervous because of the subject and the teacher. We are now down to the last day of Empowerment Technology for the whole school year and today's activity was one of the most life changing and emotional period that I had. At first, he told us to get paper 4 and write down where we will go to college. Second, he told us to get paper 2 and write down where will we see ourselves 5 years from now. The third and the last activity, he tasked us to get paper 1 and write down "the secret that you never want to share". After the activity, we went down, we prayed, and we burned our papers as a sign of forgetting the past and forgiving ourselves. I was honored to be the one to burn the papers (hehe). I never pictured out Sir Francis letting us do such activity because he was all techy and informational stuff but this one's a different one. Thank you so much for the memories and lessons, Sir Francis Calas and may the love of God be your reward! 💕

Day 4 (february 28, 2018) (wednesday)

Today was our last day to use the Comp. Lab. During the period, I felt really happy because we played an academical game by group even though it was recorded. The past few days has been hard and stressful for all of us students because of all the PT’s that are gonna be submitted this week. There are many research papers to finish and requirements to pass. But during the period it was like all of our problems and stress flew away. Shoutout to Sir Francis! Thank you so much for the stress relieving activity.

Day 3 (february 26, 2018) (monday) Today in our meeting, Sir Francis consulted us on how our social media campaigns and website is going. Other than that, some of our classmates were called outside our classroom to have a talk with him. While it was going on, we continued doing our work by group.

Day 1. [021918]

It was supposed to be an ordinary morning—a morning where all the students who will attend the retreat would just be chilling and enjoy the remaining hours before going to the retreat house, but no. After our first period, the atmosphere changed when our beloved teacher arrived. Things also started to become frightening as students from other classes also gathered inside the room. I was clueless on what was happening around me. I thought of worst-case scenarios for me to keep myself busy and to cover my anxiety. It didn’t help at all as Sir Francis opened a video. In that moment, I knew that the video would play a major role in our finals.

Although I was only exaggerating things, the video was all about the things we are going to do in our last stretch of this semester. It introduced to us the things we will be doing. 

All of the talking and there’s only one thing remained in my mind: NO. WRITTEN. EXAM.

I don’t know what lies ahead of us… but one thing’s for sure: ALL OF US WILL BE DOING OUR BEST TO SURVIVE THE FINAL TEST.

Day 2 (february 22, 2018) (thursday)

Today is our second meeting of our e-tech subject. Sir Francis was only around for a small amount if time because he was busy due to the defense of the other students. With that, he left us an activity by group. He let us search about 21st century skills and blogging sites. I was assigned to correct the grammar of our group paper.

1 week left for finals and the pressure is real.

Day 1 (february 19, 2018) (monday)

Today was the first day that sir Francis introduced to us the system that we are gonna do during the finals.

I am more than thankful because HOORAY no more quizzes and written exam.

BUT that doesn’t mean that our journey during the finals will be the most tiring that we are going to experience yet. Why? Because research everyday. RESEARCH IS LIFE. RESEARCH IS LIFER. RESEARCH IS LIFEST.

On our first day, we discussed our topic that we will need to work on the whole finals session. We assigned tasks to our group mates and worked on the first part of the paper.

So much of that for the first day. Anyways, whatever is coming towards us, I am greatly challenged because in here my abilities are about to be tested.

LET’S DO THIS EMPOWERMENT TECHNOLOGY, SECOND SEMESTER FINALS!
