Cause I can imagine many scenarios where like a girl comes into de picture and he falls for her, obviously the story then wouldn’t be everlark but I still think it’d be interesting to read cause I barely see any stories for him or even for gale but I see so much potential. Also I loveee your stories for finnick and the KING haymitch!!

full transparency, i have not! him and katniss are too strong of a literary couple to conceptualize that. i have toyed around with an idea for gale, but admittedly, it is harder to write for them because their stories are reliant on katniss and their relationships/dynamics with her. very unfortunate because i enjoy writing them in my finnick stories (and dcmkdcmb)!

i associate father figure with margaret tbh (but only bc i picture her channeling her inner tony to the song w her suit, and bc she has daddy issues)

cancelled! is so savannah and congressman barnes coded (bc she is rlly trying to keep her job and not get him cancelled LMFAO)

opalite makes me think of haymitch and colette bc it is a sweet song and they are sweet

elizabeth taylor gives off evelyn and steve/bucky vibes (trying to not spoil but yeah)

the fate of ophelia could be applied to, you guessed it, ophelia and finnick (LOL)! but i could also pair it with margaret and bucky :)

honestly, i write lots of my fics to TTPD bc those lyrics are top tier. this album let me down a bit in the lyric department
