I just finished read “All is Found: A Frozen Anthology”
In the chapter “Coronation Day”. Elsa gets trapped in a perfect dream like reality created by Ahtohallan. In this version of her life, her parents are alive, Anna always knew about her powers, Arendelle accepts her magic from the very beginning, and her coronation goes exactly the way she always wished it would.
And then there’s Hans.
What’s fascinating is that this isn’t the Hans from the end of Frozen. This is Hans as he exists within Elsa’s idealized version of reality. He dances with her, talks with her, charming her, and is simply part of a world where everything went right instead of wrong.
What makes the scene so interesting is that it gives us a glimpse of what Elsa’s perfect life looks like. In a reality built from her hopes rather than her fears, Hans isn’t a threat. He’s just… there.
It’s such a small moment, but it raises so many questions. How different would things have been if the coronation had gone perfectly? If Elsa had never lived in fear? If Hans had entered a completely different version of her story?
And honestly? As a longtime Helsa fan, I can’t help but find that incredibly interesting.
