Farewell to Patty Duke (14 December 1946 - 29 March 2016). As a kid I loved re-runs of her kitsch sixties sitcom The Patty Duke Show (in which she played identical twin - cousins!). But of course I mostly treasure Duke for her full-throttle performance as the grasping, pill-popping Neely O'Hara in the camp-tastic The Valley of The Dolls (1967).
