mostly art and random shit from the recesses of my brain. every once in a while i think to myself ‘oh right this account exists’ post a few things and disappear for another 3 months

a little tour of past and present TDitD covers!

first draft - 5/23/24 - made before a lot of the story was written! aspen did not exist yet, and only the beginning and end had been plotted. dawn’s power was clearly still central to the story, though! this one was never posted and i don’t remember why. featuring dawn 1.0’s weird swirly design

second draft - 8/1/24 - still pretty early in planning, but the setting and plot had been developed a little more. still only featuring dawn. this was posted to my deviantart, because i still didn’t even have a tumblr set up… lol. still showing off dawn’s first design! i kind of hate it now

first official cover - 1/2/25 - created kind of in a rush—the first TDitD page was posted on 1/13/25! featuring other main characters this time, since their roles in the story had been figured out by then

current cover - 6/25/26 - it needed an update! featuring a newer artstyle (better shading!) and more characters. really i just felt that the old one was very out of date and wanted a fresh start :) i like it much more now!
