[ okay, i know i said in the previous post that i'd be able to reply after august. as you may have noticed, that clearly was not the case. ;u;

my new job turned out to have taken over my life in more ways than one and i currently have no fandom life whatsoever. while that makes me very sad, my job IS pretty awesome so i can't jeopardize it. plus it puts the proverbial bread on the table.

as of now, i am officially placing all my rp blogs under an indefinite hiatus. i don't want to delete or close them, but i haven't yet figured out how to fit in roleplay in my life.

i am truly, very sorry to all the partners i neglected! i will try to send memes and stuff to keep interacting when i can but i won't be able to do threads. i love you all and i miss you guys a lot. kieren misses his partners all so much. i hope you are all doing well. ]

The strawberry-blond said, his voice betraying his clear disbelief.

He'd gone to the local treatment center after the symptoms worsened and he’d  already entrusted his life to Sabine a day before, making her promise to be the  one to take him out once the medication wore off completely.

She was the first person he sought out after he'd gone to the doctors and heard their diagnosis. The moment she opened  her door to him, the words were out of his mouth. I'm not turning rabid.

Kieren stared wide-eyed at her, panting a little because he hadn't realized that he’d  broken into a run to get to her place.

Kieren gave an incredulous look back, like he was seriously doubting the severity of the threat. Seff wouldn't dare go through with it. Not with how cold it was these nights and how gloomy it felt to have a whole bed to yourself.

"Oh, sod off. Cute is for kittens." He grinned, eyes flicking up to Seff's cat ears, making the implication clear.

“That’s exactly what you have to do,” he mutters with gritted teeth, nerves getting a bit annoyed with Kieren’s words.

“No!” Chris turns, hastily shaking a finger at his friend. “’m not bein’ followed. Pals an’ I just got into a little brawl back at the bar-” but he didn’t work on Wednesday nights- “’m fine, just- just get back into yer room,” he gives a shaky chuckle and smile, even though he knew he had to head back out there and continue on helping the gang with the drug transport under risky surveillance by no-good cops who were also in it for the cash.

Brushing his cropped hair back, Chris moves away from the windows after making sure the roads are clear, heading into his own bedroom and digs around in the closet to change into a clean shirt and jeans and washed his face.

“Don’t you have class tomorrow mornin’? Get back to sleep, Kier.” He shrugs his jacket back on, hiding the pained wince as his bandaged arm stretched a little bit too hard.

His brow arched at what seemed like an overly-defensive response. He remained quiet but didn't go back to his room. Instead he watched Chris as the other blond moved into the other room and started to change.

He frowned at the stiffness in Chris's arm. Already, blood was beginning to seep through the poorly-applied bandages.

❝Look-- I get it. You don't want me to know what this is about. Fine. But I am not goin' back under the covers  like a child until you either let me take a look at your injuries or you let me take you to hospital an' have someone else check them.❞

Kieren leaned against the doorway, giving Chris a pointed look.
