Oop sorry for lack of updates for a while, been picking away at some gorgeous little figs I've finished the skin and hair on today and have small updates on a few different models! Giving Eisenhorn and the burrds a gentle blow dry to speed up their wash drying. Layer 4 on the stripes, when this is done the whole carapace gets glazed down, then about 3 more highlights at smaller strokes and it will be done and I'll start on the skin. Carapace base down, and starting highlights. This will be brought up to a neon turquoise at the high points, had to stop where I did as I was getting a bit blurry eyed which isint great for stripes!

Airbrushing finished on the neon Haruspex, next up is to matte black him entirely, and then start blocking in thr skin and carapace patterns. Here is something interesting! I'm trying out a new ultra matte black as I am sick of sheen reflecting my lights and affecting my photos, there is only one layer on the carapace here but the effect is crazy. Its very, very, very black.
