Hi! I know you do recommendations, but I’m hoping you can help me find a fic that has been in my brain for WEEKS that I cannot find.
It was Steddie but it starts with them either just getting together or pre relationship. They were having a ✨moment✨ when Steve’s walkie talkie crackled, and The Party is calling for help. The boys + Max had snuck out to the woods to drink together (there might have been a bonfire?) but now they are stuck in a tree with demo-monsters around them. Steddie rushes there, Steve forces Eddie to get the kids to the vehicle and he goes to hold the line with his bat. He kills one of the monsters but can’t handle the others and is very gravely injured. El and Hopper show up, and maybe Jancy? Eddie runs back to Steve’s side as he’s bleeding out. Hopper has to carry him. He has to have surgery, and when he is home, all the Adults, older teens + El are angry with the party and are forcing them to take care of Steve’s house in payment for saving them. (Will mows the lawn) Steve gets upset with all the adults though and says the kids were being kids - wanting to be normal for once and he understood.
I know there are probably multiple fics with this premise, it was just so specific and so good and I am desperate. If you have any ideas, please help! 🙏
