I am publicly shaming you, if you look at someone’s art or writing and think this is appropriate you’re very misguided, try SUGGESTING a pairing you’d like to see instead of idk.. passively aggressively making this sort of comment.

Okay, let’s break it down. 

Under a cut, bc it got wordy, but the long short is: don’t comment in this fashion. 

“Could you maybe post other ships aside from KakuHida?”

Expresses desire but doesn’t offer direction. “I see you’re cooking, could you cook something else?” Personally, I just ask: Can’t you just enjoy the free art you consume, that the artist put their heart and time and love into? Just my hot take but this reads as “I want to consume other content,” without specifying what type of content, and Just to Put It Out There, It hurts my soul as an author to see this comment because the artist cLEARLY ADORES the pairing they’re drawing for, and asking them to deviate from that (without fucking pay mind you) is dragging them from the thing they loves. The commenter don’t outright say that they dislike the pairing. Perhaps the commenter even likes KakuHida. But the way it’s phrased feels like rubbing the wrong way. “Could you do something else?” It isn’t rude but it certainly could be said differently. 

“If not i mean that’s fine too but it’d be nice.”

What the hell this even means. This line has no substance. No direction. It is literally useless. “do what you want but consider to do what I want you to do, which hasn’t been clarified, and I’m just basically tying to sound like a nice person while still asking for something” is what I’m getting from this collection of words masquerading as a sentence. 

What is the real problem with this? I find it outrageous the culture there is for artists and authors: we create content to share with tumblr or AO3. Some people expectations are for comments with praise, rarely for criticism, but never for a sentiment that is ‘make something different’. If we choose to create something different that’s fine. 

Requests are even fine, if they specific. It doesn't hurt to add a compliment, or a comment, about the fucking artist or author. “I love your style! Have you ever draw NaruSasu? I love to see them in your art!” or “Your writing is really moving. Do you ship SakuSai? I’ve been dying to read something like this.” You can make requests for other arts, writing or drawing, but please remember some things. 

Artists and Authors are often unpaid. You are consuming free content. The only currency we get from readers can be a Kudos, a Like, a Reblog, or, the Gold, a Comment. For the comment to be something of this nature? I can’t imagine the disappointment. It isn’t a comment. It’s a request for something else. 

this goes on too long. 

In short, thank you for reading, and just... don’t comment in this way.

What I really like about Obito and Kakashi’s bond is that it wasn’t caused by fate or reincarnation, or any other spiritual stuff. However, their relationship is usually compared to Madara and Hashirama’s and Sasuke and Naruto’s. Unlike them, Kakashi and Obito never had this background. The reason they are connected is the result of coincidences and condition of time in which they lived. They both were just little kids: damaged by the war, orphans. And it is the only things that they have in common. They didn’t know about each other before they entered the same team. Kakashi was never close to Obito, he never knew how much he trained and didn’t pay attention to his dream. Just like Obito who never knew Sakumo’s story and that Kakashi is actually very lonely. The reason they are connected is that Obito destroyed all the doubts Kakashi had about his father and sacrificed his life for him, that he showed him a path to move throughout the life. And it is not destiny that these two met, they are just who they are, and it is beautiful.
