“You’ve got to be kidding me.” María’s eyes widened as she peered up at the screen, sighing softly as her nose then wrinkled. “I can’t believe I was talked into doing this.” She then frowned before casting a glance down toward her basket. “Though, bringing my best friend Jack with me was definitely a grand idea.” The raven haired beauty then pulled the bottle from her basket, humming happily as she then unscrewed the cap, taking a sip of the dark liquid. Hissing softly as it burned the back of her throat, she then murmured softly. “I’m sure my date won’t mind if there’s a little missing. I also brought a water pistol, so if I see anyone making out, they better watch out.” You could say she was a little salty that she wouldn’t be doing any of the making out.
“How can people even watch this?” She mumbled. Thumb resting under her jaw bone and index and middle fingers massaging her temple, Violet glanced at María and sighed. She perked up a bit seeing the bottle of Jack she pulled out. Without saying anything, she took the bottle from her friend and took a small sip. “You owe me, you’re the reason I’m here.” She wasn’t going to go but it was almost like the founders ball all over again. María had somehow convinced Violet this wouldn’t be a terrible idea, which was now something she regretted. Hearing about the water pistol made her laugh lightly. “Someone’s a bit bitter today.” She nudged her shoulder playfully.
