Ant raised an eyebrow at the man’s statement and laughed, shaking his head a little bit. He moved closer and shrugged, “Sure...we doing anything particular?”

There was a dirty martini in his hand as his eyes scanned the room around him. He had been here for a few days now and honestly…well he wasn’t impressed. Krov’s was well known in the rich and powerful, a place where you could have your heart’s desired and boys and men a like to do as you pleased. “So,” Cole said to anyone who would listen in the room. “When do I become impressed with this place? So far it’s pretty boring.”
“It depends on what you put into it, really,” Ant said from his seat. He was seated in the bar, his own drink seated on the bar top in front of him. He was in a bad mood, had been for a while now and he couldn’t get out of his funk it seemed. “Standing around and complaining ain’t gonna get you anything.”

Ant looked over at the candy the other offered him and shook his head. “No…thank you. I don’t eat candy.”
“Do you not like it?” Brody asked, starting to open the package already.
Ant shrugged. “I don’t mind it...but I just don’t normally eat candy.”

Following the other’s movements, he grabbed his own stick and looked at the green felt table for a moment before he looked at the other. “I do not know how to play with this table, no…. but it wasn’t what I wanted, either. However, it would look suspicious were we just talking, so teach me,” the larger man said as he gestured to the green felt table. “And tell me about what you know of this place.”
Ant sorted softly but nodded. “This is pool,” he mused, motioning to the table. He went about setting up the balls. “Your goal is to sink all your balls into the holes.” He moved over toward the other slave. “And this place...is a slave castle, the collar is there to keep you weak and marked as property I guess.”

“I know you’re having a bad day, but would this possibly help to make it better?” Brody added as he held up the candy to the man sitting beside him. “Unless, you know, you just want me to have it instead.”

Truthfully, Markos’ wanting to learn about how to play the green-felt table was a ruse to get the other away so he could establish some sort of bond with the man in the hopes to make friendships that could otherwise help him out of the castle he found himself currently occupied in, so when the other said that he could show him more than that, he was curious to know just what he meant. With a nod, the larger male began to lead the other to the green felt table and he glanced over at him curiously. “You seemed as though you were hardly enjoying yourself over there, so I thought I’d step in and offer you a safety net of sorts.”
Ant nodded as he walked over to the pool table, picking up one of the sticks. “Yeah, and I really appreciate that.” He looked back up at the man. “So, you really don’t know how to play pool or did you want something else?”

Ant had been held hostage by this conversation for the better part of thirty minutes before he sighed. “I’m sorry…are you almost done?”
Getting his bearings on the castle that he currently found himself held captive in - though, to him, all castles looked alike and like jail cells that were just waiting for him to break from - he walked out of the small dormitory in the Undercroft to one of the common rooms where slaves lingered, and he could see two deep in conversation. Or, rather, one in conversation and the other seeming bored. Even though the Alpha considered himself a lone wolf, he knew better than to assume that he could get out of here on his own, and one way to ensure that he could get out was by making connections. It was how he had escaped is life of captivity before. “Excuse me,” Markos spoke in English, his Greek accent hanging heavy - but if you listened closely enough, there were influences of Spanish and Italian within it. “Do either of you wish to show what one can do with the green felt tables?”
When his conversation “partner” stopped talking, just long enough to process the question Ant had posed. He was about to escape when another person came over. He almost let out a long exaggerated sigh; he didn’t want to get stuck in another conversation. But the newcomer asked a question of his own and Ant jumped at the opportunity. Anything to get away from the drip he was stuck with. Plus, this guy had a body on him. “I can show you more than that,” he said and stood up. “Let’s go big guy.”
Ant had been held hostage by this conversation for the better part of thirty minutes before he sighed. “I’m sorry...are you almost done?”

“Can I help you, sir?” the young fae asked softly, looking over the master with a small smile.
Ant shook his head and waved a hand slightly. “Oh, no, no, no...I’m not a...ha, I’m not a ‘sir’, y’know? I’m just like you. Only...claimed I guess.”
