— Wes Angelozzi
“People need to be encouraged. People need to be reminded of how wonderful they are. People need to be believed in - told that they are brave and smart and capable of accomplishing all the dreams they dream, and more. Remind each other of this.”
— Stacey Jean Speer
“People grow when they are loved well. If you want to help others heal, love them without an agenda.”
— Mike McHargue
“Go and love someone exactly as they are. Then, watch how they transform into the greatest truest version of themselves. When one feels seen and appreciated in their own essence, one is instantly empowered.”
— Wes Angelozzi
“To find peace, sometimes you have to be willing to lose your connection with people, places and things that create all the noise in your life.”
— lieinlove
“Don’t kill flowers growing inside of you for someone who doesn’t appreciate the way you bloom.”
— Billy Chapata
“I’m slowly learning that even if I react, it won’t change anything, it won’t make people suddenly love and respect me, it won’t magically change their minds. Sometimes it’s better to just let things be, let people go, don’t fight for closure, don’t ask for explanations, don’t chase answers and don’t expect people to understand where you’re coming from. I’m slowly learning that life is better lived when you don’t center it on what’s happening around you and center it on what’s happening inside you instead. Work on yourself and your inner peace.”
— TheMindsJournal
“It’s kinda pointless to fight for what you want when what you want continues to break your heart.”
— Molly McAdams
“Start over my darling. Be brave enough to find the life you want and courageous enough to chase it. Then start over and love yourself the way you were always meant to.”
— Madalyn Beck
“I could write a poem using nothing but your name, over and again.”
— Daily Haiku on Love by Tyler Knott Gregson
I was up thinking of the wasted years,
Of the efforts taken for granted,
Of the love poured in to every meal, every present, every event planned,
Of the given attention and body,
Of the planned future and plans,
Of the promises yet to be kept.
Then I opened TikTok and yes I will replay this the lullaby to help me sleep tonight.
“You can love and fight, you can seek and you can wait, hold and still be held.”
— Daily Haiku on Love by Tyler Knott Gregson
I remember I loved flowers. And I would caption under each: always.
I still love flowers and I will still caption:
Always.
“Being brave doesn’t mean you aren’t scared. Being brave means you are scared, really scared, badly scared, and you do the right thing anyway.”
— Neil Gaiman
It’s 2.47am and my little heart is awake with so much pain. So much hurt.
Rethinking it all.
How does it happen that all you ever do is love someone and all they do is hurt you.
Either be honest from day one or rise up to your promises.
I literally just prayed to go to save me from this all. And so this notification comes on.
Perhaps to leave the person I loved the most was the right decision and it’s better wasted 4 years than more of grief.
“Never forget the people who take time out of their day to check up on you.”
