Talent-on-Demand is a new paradigm that many corporations are adopting. The basic premise here is that these corporations are choosing to only hire skilled candidates who can be deployed on revenue-generation activities from the very first day. In other words, the conventional method of coming to campus a couple of semesters prior to graduation to “Hire – Train – Deploy” is being steadily being replaced by “Train – Hire – Deploy”, with the candidate sponsoring the training rather than the employer.
