It's a real shame to my knowledge none of the big Thor writers in the last decade, despite always doing this 100 issue grand epic, ever realyl do anything with Enchantress (besides Fraction, which from what I've seen and heard was... Not great).

Yeah, outside of Kirby and Simonson, I don't think most writers really think to bring Amora in unless they want to cause problems for Thor with either Sif or Jane or to give him a lover that is neither of them. There is the odd time when they feel like giving Loki an tenuous ally that he has a weird sexual tension with, but ultimately Amora has always been, and will always be, a second tier Asgardian. She does tend to pop in randomly throughout various arcs and storylines, but mostly is sidelined and written absolutely terribly. Which is, largely, why I came about writing her here. She's a character I love that I wish was treated better and given more to do than be someone's ex. Reunite her with Skurge and let them have their own fucking adventures drawn by Stephanie Hans and written by someone good for once.

I have a lot lot lot lot lot of feelings about Amora, and, by extension, Skurge. I'm their Larry H Parker (which is apparently a joke only people from California get?)
