{ one thing is dropping the elixir from sole clumsiness, but then again that's what they get for trusting her with something so valuable. }
"-- It's really not my fault, I tripped."
{ she had a gut feeling that maybe that was the only thing they had to protect her from the other supernatural beings, and her mood fell six feet under ground. }
"Can we make another one?"
He watched as she walked over to him, his smirk growing as he realized she was walking straight towards him. He was taken by surprise as he felt her hand running through his hair, nodding at her question.
“I suppose there is one, but I don’t know if you’d like to know it.”
The female's brows furrowed at his words, but then she decided to just use her powers to drag it out of him. Then her hand dropped from his hair, contemplating the idea after all.
"Please, that's the least you could do since you were staring at me ever since I walked in."
"It’s important for little girls to have characters to look up to, and also be entertained by the fantasy parts. There are a lot of not-so-good role models out there for younger kids, it’s good to have someone they can relate to on television." - Phoebe Tonkin
“I’ve never paid a lot of attention to my nails because I have these little boy fingers. I always joke I could be a hand model in a Tonka Truck commercial!”
It’s not all bad. Let me show you.
Deja’s eyes widened as hers met his, his tongue poking out to wet his lips. He looked over at the girls surrounding her, who were probably her friends, realizing that none of them noticed the encounter. He smirked, shamlessly looking her up and down, not really trying to hide it. He brought his glass to his lips, licking the rim of it before he tilted his head back to drink it, his eyes imideitely wandering back to the girl.
Aimee looked at her friends signaling that she'll be heading over to the bar, but when she turned back she noticed the way the male's eyes traveled through her body. Uprising a bit of confidence in her, she took the chance to walk up to him. The closer she got, the closer she noticed the big curls he had, Once she got close enough to him, she ran a hand through her dark brown locks.
"There must be a reason why you're staring at me, right?"
As he sat on the bar stool in the crowded club, Deja bit on his bottom lip, watching the girl walk in through the door. Normally when he wanted something he’d be able to go and get it, but he was much to nervous. So, instead of getting up to go talk to her he waited, subconsciously drinking out of his glass while he kept his eyes on her, sure she could see his stares.
After having a bad day, her friends began to notice her mood and decided to force her out that night. While she walked pass the bouncer with her fake identification card, Aimee felt the vapor of the bodies moving to the music hit her in the face and soon enough her frown turned into a smirk. Though, she was feeling someone looking at her, she didn't really know where the person was. Nonetheless, the brunette cautiously turned towards the direction where she felt the eyes piercing her through. And that's when her eyes met with a very attractive male.
guess who's back from their hiatus?!
"Just out of pure curiosity--
how stupid do you think I am?"
She's shaking her head, her eyebrows furrowed and her arms folded, it was evident that she was beginning to get angry at them.
Then the blonde tilted her head to the side, waiting for them to answer her. One thing she learned to do was calm herself down before the problem even started: last thing she needed was to bring her powers out.
In a universe where everyone is born with numbers on their wrists counting down to when they'll meet their soulmate, send me 00:00:00 for my muses reaction to their numbers hitting zero when they meet yours.
Vincent knew something was wrong, almost immediately. As soon as he felt her shoulders turn rigid, his entire demeanor changed as well. How could he have screwed it up so quickly? They hadn’t even talked. As his jaw tightened, he took a step away from her. Something told him he shouldn’t feel as comfortable around her as he thought that he could just a moment ago. Besides, he’d seen girl fights. He didn’t want to be on the other end of a bitch slap if he’d somehow earned one.
Her words made his eyes widen, and then he was blinking rapidly to catch up with what she had said. Apparently, using his better judgement had been wrong. Vincent understood now that he should have contacted her, and he’d obviously made himself seem like a complete ass hat. Which hadn’t been his intention at all.
”Well, Carter—you could have called me too. It’s not like I was the only one that could have reached out. And I didn’t know if I should. I didn’t know if the whole thing freaked you out or not, and I didn’t want to push you.”
Vincent felt bad that he’d laid it out like that, but it was the truth. On one end, he wanted to hand over an apology and just agree with her even if he really didn’t. Let her take the argument and simply give up. Then again, he didn’t want her to see him through tainted vision, wanted to defend himself so that his name wasn’t so corroded.
"Of course the whole thing freaked me out, Vincent! I was beyond freaked out! But that didn't stop me, did it? I still told you stuff, I still kissed you, I still -- How the hell was I supposed to know that? I'm not experienced in this. From all the movies I've seen the guys call the girl, so I just waited for you to call me. But you never called..."
Carter grabbed her jacket from the table that was at the far end, slid out of the booth and got up putting her jacket on and then later the small colorful scarf she was wearing as well. She didn't want to make him feel bad, and she didn't want to embarrass herself in front of him and in front of the people in the cafe, so she did the best thing she could've done; run. And so she ran out of the place, hoping that he wouldn't follow her, that she didn't get hit by a car and that she didn't look stupid. But she knew that she looked stupid, and she knew that if she kept running across the streets like that that she will get hit, but she wasn't so sure about Vincent following her, she wasn't sure if he was asking himself if it was worth it; running after her and stopping her from being stupid and just apologize to him.
The brunette stopped a few blocks away from the cafe, trying to catch her breath. Side note: Go to the gym more often, you only ran a few blocks and you already got tired, wow.
there’s always those friends that are your go-to best friend. the one that knows everything that goes down between you and other people, and the one that listens to your rants without ignoring you and always backs you up and is on your side no matter what. i have one of those people right here in the community; i love you coco. everyone follow her because she’s a fab roleplayer and deserves it. so i guess this just turned into a little promo.
