Carter was always a nice guy, he was sweet and thought about others before himself- but he lived in a shithole apartment that he could barely even afford and everytime he took the beautiful brunette home with him his stomach twisted in knots because he knew she shouldn’t be in a place like this, she deserved better. But he loved her and he was too selfish to let her go. “C’mon Belle...” he quickly grabbed her hand and led her to his apartment, opening the door, letting her in and closing it behind her. As soon as the door was closed he wrapped his arms around her in a tight embrace, apologizing over and over, “I’m so sorry Belle, I’m so sorry, I love you and I wish you didn’t have to deal with that I’m so sorry.” he muttered, kissing the top of her head.
