The strange voice close enough to him bounced his attention from the kitten in his hands, having him turning carefully around to notice the nervous cat slowly approaching a woman not too far from where he sat. The kitten on his shoulders perked at her coo as well, mewling softly before he decided he also wanted to say hi to the new arrival, preparing to jump off of his shoulders with a few, careful wiggles of his behind. But Map, knowing the older cat would frighten at the younger’s intervention caught the curious kitten in mid air nuzzling his nose between his twitching ears while still keeping a close look on the nervous one. ❛ Careful. ❜ He spoke softly, his voice carrying a hint of a soothing melody as his head cocked to the side, the two kittens in his hands curling into his palms instead. He smiled firstly at the stranger, then encouragingly ( & a hint proudly ) at the cat enjoying her pets. ❛ She frightens very easily. Please don’t raise your voice too high.❜
sometimes ordinary days offered little challenges. she liked them, when they were harmless and soft. cheeky, she was, but always tried to maintain her little halo above her head. after all, it made little sense going through life feeling down--- which usually included usage of her abilities as well. alas, when the other warned her regarding the cat she had lured onto her lap by then, an eyebrow rose. she sense a challenge in that, playful and gentle, and so she tilted her head, extended a hand while the other one ran along the feline’s head. focus put into her voice, the tone of it meant to be alluring and soothing, she glanced at the remaining cats. with a hint of luck, she would manage to lure at LEAST one of them to her as well. ❝ me ? frighten those poor sweethearts ? i would never. come on over here, babies~ ❝
