The thing that upsets me more about them killing Eddie is how good he fitted with the crew, like bob was kind of in it through being Joyce boyfriend and knew until the end what was happening, Alexei was with the adults helping them, but Eddie? He was immediately part of the kids and teen group and made compete sense like everything about him seemed like he has been there since S1, he had chemistry with the whole cast as in we could talk about how good of a friendship he would have been for every one and how important it would have been for the teens to see someone like Eddie and get to know him and see how truly kind and sweet he was. Not to even mention the huge impact he had on Lucas mike and Dustin, those 3 kids adored him, they saw themselves in him, mike wanted to look like him, Dustin loved him, Lucas defended him and stood by him. They knew he was a good person just like them but misunderstood and bullied for being different. His narrative is so important and valuable and in a story of misfits and nerds. Eddie was another type of representation needed. He didn't conform to hawkins pressure he did what he wanted and was so brave for it. He should have survived and proved to us that not conforming and even running is the right choice sometimes. And that it's okay to be who you are. The potential of the character for S5 also upsets me so much. He should have meet eleven and see her use her powers. This is a kid who loved fantasy and magic and never got to see the kid with powers !!! Will deserved to join hellfire and be one of the party and seeing Eddie be who he is not caring and being free, that would have meant a lot to Will.
