hello all, introduction to my Hellenic polytheist blog.

we are a system practicing Hellenic polytheism. we will only be posting about being a system on this blog if it's necessary to the post, we thought it would be nice to mention. (we are endogenic, anti endos dni)

we may post our devotional acts or stories of things that have happened. it really just depends on how we feel

we have not been practising for very long, i dont remember the exact date but it was around mid February we decided to convert.

we are also a witch (learning for 2 years now) but prefer to keep that part of our practice offline and more private.

we do not encourage you to seek guidance from us, we are quite young and still a beginner in Hellenic polytheism. we will try our best to answer everything but urge you to learn yourself or from more experienced people in this religion.

i feel silly in a way, i have multiple personalitites/personas and it switches troughout the day/days but it's not like i have alters.. Like one day i'm a 30 year old man and the next i'm a 15 year old wolfboy and the third day i'm a weird cryptid creature that hides under your bed.. Can this religious community stop trying to define words for each other. Unless a word has a historical meaning, like miasma, or melam, or whatever. I mean like shrine vs altar, work with vs worship, devotee vs worshipper in relation to neo-paganism and recon/revive polytheism. Y'all realize none of them used English, the words being squabble over, right.

Reminder that you can't tell exactly what someone's practice is like by just looking at their online presence. Mine is certainly not what people would think, and it's a little frustrating sometimes because I have to justify my presence in some circles. There's A LOT that I don't share here, and the same can be said about other worshippers as well. It's best to simply not assume you know everything about someone's practice from their Tumblr posts.

been learning how to skate as a devotional act to Hermes,

I went out with my dad today and cruzed around in an empty carpark after getting slushies. (he also skates, he's like 47 and he always gets compliments from old lady's about it)

I figured I'd learn a new mode of transport in honour of lord Hermes being the god of travel and messaging

I'm getting better, it's really fun and relaxing, I have to work on my balance tho
