Hoseok took a trip around the globe to meet different dancers who could show him their dancing style and maybe help him find a style of his own, one that he could feel would shake him all the way to his bones or maybe a style that would make the blood in is veins flow faster when his body started moving.
He could only image what it would be like when he found it.
Through out his passionate search, he met a lot of great dancer and made a bunch of new friends.
He had been through Asia, Europe, America, Africa, Oceania, but out of all those places he went, there was one specific location he remembered by heart.
Thatâs were he learned a bit of afro beat styles, he liked the dance style and definitely wanted to use the dance steps for a future chore with his team.
When learning other dance styles, Hoseok tried learning a choreography that included said steps in order to get the right feel of it, so for this style there wouldnât be any exceptions.
The difference between this choreography and others he had perform was 1. It was a 2 person choreo with the coach and owner of the studio and 2. he had fallen head over heals for her.
It made him nervous since the choreography did include some parts where he would have to hold her close to him.
She wore glasses and had curly hair with couple of golden highlights.
Her melanated skin had a shine of its own.
She was a bit older than him, but nothing too wild.
When they spoke on non-dancing terms she could be bit geeky but once her dance was on, she was a whole different person.
She turned a bit flirty and a little cocky but it matched her dance style so well.
It was evident that she had also grown fond of him as she had dragged him to every place in town since he stated he motive of visiting her studio.
In the short 3 months that he had been there, they had created an inseparable bond, it was almost as if they were attached at the hip.
They spoke about life, about goals, about the future, about the past, about love, about hate.
All topics had been discussed between them.
Hoseok was so into her, but the fact that he soon had to leave for his next location was eating him up inside.
An early Friday morning, before the studio opened, she had decided to practice her part on her own and fix any mistakes she may find, however she wasnât counting on him arriving a couple of minutes after her to do the same.
They both warmed up together, joked around a bit and got to dancing.
This was the part that made Hoseok nervous, he stood behind her and linked his hand with hers on her stomach while they both swayed to the rhythm of the music, they both looked up at the mirror, in reality looking at one another, their hands separated and she walk away as if she was about to leave, Hoseok grabbed her by the arm spinning her gracefully while rhythmically walking towards her and she did the same, the moment felt private, like no one should witness it, but it was just a dance, what made it different was the feelings behind the dancers that executed it.
While the end of the dance was near, in the last step Hoseok was supposed to pull her is a bit harder and nuzzle her neck but he ended up smashing his lips to hers.
Truth is, she has been waiting for him to do so for sometime now and she didnât regret it one bit, it was as if she was in cloud 9 and she wasnât ready to come back down.
Even though it was one of the best nights for both of them, it was also the night of disaster.
It was the night Hoseok told her he would leave in a week to finish his global dance tour and wasnât sure if he would see her again after that, since he would start comebacks with his group and things would get crazy.
She had cried so much that he considered not leaving, but she insisted that opportunities for certain dreams just come once and we shouldnât waste them.
And so he left, leaving her behind to follow his dream, not saying that she wasnât part of it now, but he wanted to respect her decision as well and she wanted him to go.
Jung Hoseok stepped back in Seoul, South Korea, filled with experiences and new found knowledge.
He told his best friends everything from his crazy dancing experience in the snow to his new knowledge on whining in the Caribbean.
He told them everything, including how he had left half of his heart in another city and didnât know how to find it.
He received mixed reactions, some were sorry to hear that, some asked why didnât he give her his number or something, others stated it was better to have at least loved than to have never.
But none of those answers satisfied his need for her touch, he wanted to see her smile, wanted to play with the small curls in her hair, wanted to lay on the studio floor at 3 am laughing at nothing but also at everything.
He wanted to see her so bad, but all he had was her 1st name (y/n), he couldnât even try looking on Facebook or Instagram, he would get a lot of people on his results so he didnât even try.
It has been 6 months since Hoseok has been back and he has manage yo set her in the back of his mind without completely forgetting her, just far enough to not have the thought of her absence burden him.
Comebacks have been great, the group has been gaining a lot of popularity and they have traveled to several countries.
Schedules have been packed and the guys barely have time to eat, sleep and repeat.
Hoseok seems to barely remembers her now.
The boys have mostly forgotten about her, but HE hasnât even tried to date any one.
His friends have tried setting him up with several girls but he either declines or says they are not his type.
Heâs glad it has been a couple of months since they tried setting him up on a blind date, because itâs getting him on his last nerve.
This month they have a tight schedule, they have to meet with a couple of choreographers that would help them with adding fresh ideas to their dances, they needed something new to spark interest in the fans, right.
They have already met 3 choreographers and have 1 more to go but the boys are a bit tired, so they decided they would be taking a break soon before the last choreographer comes in.
Jungkook, Jimin and Taehyung are the most excited, they heard the last choreographer is one of the best in her country and it took Bang PD a whole lot to get her to come all the way to Korea.
The hyung line seems to be done for the day and just wanted to get this over with to vote for who they liked the most and work directly with that choreographer.
Hoseok on the other hand didnât really feel like having a female choreographer, he had the feeling his friends would try to make him forget (y/n) with a new choreographer he could feel the evil plan seeping from Jiminâs skin.
In the break room the first to talk is Jimin.
âHyung, did you hear that the last choreographer is a woman?â
âYes, I did, what about it?â
He knew it, Jimin is so predictable.
âStop, we arenât going through this againâ
âAll Iâm saying is â
âJimin let it goâ said the leader.
âI told you he would say noâ commented Yoongi from the couch he was sitting on while sipping on a water bottle in his hands.
âGuys, stop trying to set me up with girls, I donât need it and I donât want itâ
He was barely able to end his sentence when they were called to go meet the last choreographer and he sighed in relief.
They sat on the other side of the studio on 2 big black leather sofas.
The choreographer was already in the room but had her back towards them.
She was speaking to the person in charge of playing the music assuming she was setting up her song.
He hair was curly, reached down mid back length, she had sun ray highlights and was dressed in grey tracksuit pants with a black tank top.
Her skin was filled with melanin but he decided to stop at that.
Hoseok, didnât really take the time to look at her face through the mirror, since he wanted to avoid having Jimin say something stupid again.
But the minute she signaled the dj to play her song, Hoseok felt like he was about to lose it.
He hasnât heard the song in years, but he remembers it like he heard it this morning.
Her body moves gracefully to the rhythm, her hips are not owned by her, her face expression is a bit cocky and flirty, but still after so many years it suits her dace style.
The song is about to reach the one part he knows the best and his body instinctively got up from the couch and goes towards her, as if she was a magnet that worked only to lure him in.
The rest of the boys were confused as to why he was about to interrupt her, she was doing great, so far she had been one of the best.
But it all stopped when he stood behind her and connected is hand with hers on her stomach.
She looked up so quickly, she could have gotten whiplash.
She stared at him in the mirror, but automatically continued dancing, that was the only way she could be sure it was him.
And when he pulled her closer to him for the last move, she stared into his eyes as he stared into hers and all they could say was
Their lips crashed for what felt like an eternity, but it didnât last long, since the audience made themselves noted by obviously clearing their throats.
âSo, Hoseok, why are you kissing the choreographer again?â Asked a very confused Seokjin
âGuys, this is (y/n), Iâve told you guys about her beforeâ.
Was all he got in response from his friends.
They needed no further explanation, they knew who she was.
And if they knew Hoseok well enough, she wasnât going anywhere anytime soon.
