This is fantastic! And speaking as a folklorist, it’s also a really good breakdown of general scholarly consensus about “how non-judgemental we should be” when collecting information from believers. However, I have one caveat: cryptids should probably be placed in the “we have questions” section, along with aliens/UFOs: there’s a lot of thematic and structural similarity in those narratives, and at least as much evidence/”evidence”.
