Nova was pretty surprised to see that the guy in front of her was completely unfazed by her popping out at him. In fact, she was more startled and her eyes widened, tilting her head curiously at him. “Huh—that’s a first,” She responded quizzically before breaking out into a smile. “Woah?! You’re into J-Pop?!” Her eyes lit up excitedly. “I’ve heard of The Killing Moon, that’s a really good one! I’ll definitely have to listen to Miracle Aligner—you have really interesting taste.” 

“I-I don’t think music taste should be limited by language. I like how calming this song is.” He admitted with a little smile forming on him cheek. Not able to believe he was getting this much attention. Most would be scared of something about him by now. “I j-just like music t-that can make me feel like I’m a part of a steady rain. W-what do you listen to?”

“Random question for you!” Nova practically popped out of the bushes to a crowd of people. “Name three of your favorite songs and before you ask why or call me a nut case, I need you to take a breath, then think long and hard about it. You!” She pointed at the person, “What’s your top three favorite songs?!”

Before walking towards the bushes to the left of the sidewalk Simon could see someone hiding behind the greenery. Maybe it was the brightness of their hair that gave it away or that Simon was always quietly observing. So when she popped out Simon didn’t flinch, but just blinked strangely at Nova. “I-I would n-never call you a nut case.” He said before politely answering her question. “Right now would be Aruihaeiganoyouna by Yama, Miracle Aligner by The Last Shadow Puppets, and The Killing Moon.” He said hoping that answer would satisfy.
