Pyo visibly falters when the radio mentions the incoming outage, worry taking over his features. It seemed the storm was worse than Pyo had hoped and slowly he found himself thinking they would be stuck inside the bar thr whole night. Oh, how unlucky they were….

“Do you need help?”, Pyo tilts his body - eyes following Jaemin into the office. When the other emerges again Pyo tries his best to smile, no matter how anxious he feels.

Putting the ice pack aside Pyo stretches his hands towards Jaemin, showing that he was willing to distribute the candles around them.

Maybe It was a good thing Jaemin had decided to stay at the bar longer than usual. He had told his employees to head home early for the night. Being the good boss he always was, he thought to himself that the bartenders deserved a break, The bachelor party was a bit too crazy, but he was proud that they were able to get through it. The point is that he was glad that he had stayed at the bar longer more so because if he wasn’t here where would the other be at? Cabs weren’t available at this time because of the storm. Pyo would of probably gotten home safely, but there is always that what if. 

He walked out of the office with a couple candles smiling at the other having a soft chuckle escape from his lips.

“Thanks Pyo. Here.” he said as he handed the other a couple candles. 

“Just be sure to spread them out. The matches are on the counter. “ he said before he headed off quickly to set the candles onto a couple tables. 

This was definitely going to be a long night.

When Jaemin starts pointing out the different characters Pyo leans closer with a curious look on his face. His gaze follows Jaemin's finger as his eyebrows squint together - trying really hard to remember what the other is telling him.

"Marvel?..", he repeats softly after Jaemin finished his introduction to the characters, questioning gaze now directed at the other male. "Are Loki and Thor part of Marvel, too?", he asks before scrunching his nose up. He should technically know that. Noona had told him, hadn't she? "A friend of mine told me about Loki and Thor. They are brothers, yes? They have really pretty hair! I like them!"

Personal space was not a factor for the fae and it didn’t help that they family he lived with didn’t care about personal space either. Leaning over the other from behind and putting his chin on his shoulder. “Whatcha doing?”

Pyo's ears perk up in alert as he hears somebody approaching, but as soon as the chin rests on his shoulder Pyo relaxes again, body naturally dropping back to rest against his friend. "Animal Crossing!", he exclaims -holding up the gaming console higher for Santhosh to see. "Play with me?~ Do you have the time?"

Teo wasn't sure if the red on Pyo's cheeks were from the gift or the nickname he used. It is the latter option, the man thought it suited him the best as he was so small compared to him and how childish he could be sometimes.

"Correct, for you and Jason." He then laughed at how Pyo reacted at the gift, knowing well no one was expecting him to allow a dog into his house. Maybe it was the Christmas essence plus the two boys' insistence that changed his mind. "She's real, Pyo. Here, hold her."

Pyo had just been gently petting the dog's fur until Teo tolds him to hold her. Shortly he looks up to the taller for confirmation before Pyo takes the small dog - cradling her in his arms like people normally would with newborns.

As if the little dog really was a baby Pyo starts to sway from side to side. "Furry furry baby~", he purrs soothingly - only to look at Teo in excitement again as the puppy starts wagging its tail. "Look, hyung! Look!"

"Did you become a daddy just now?" Teo smiles, no sarcastic laugh or jokes this time. He knew how long Pyo and Jason were waiting for this moment. "I can't tell you who are happier, you or the puppy. It seems she already loves you." The man then leans to pat the dog once again.

"No, I am still baby!" The absent reply comes almost immediatly - too focused on the little fluffball in his arms to look up to Teo again. He only does so when at the other's last sentence - wide eyes sparkling in wonder. "Y-You think so?"

Really, he had no business becoming flustered like that over such a simple statement but here he was - trying to cover his flushed face by raising the poor dog higher and burying his face in her soft fur. "Does Jason already know, hyung?"

Comic books?... Intrigued with the stack of books Jaemin was carrying out from the back room, Pyo follows behind the taller - crawling onto the chair offered to him. Even as he looks at the covers of them Pyo's attention is focused on Jaemin speaking. Family was just not a topic he felt fully comfortable with, so it was easier to avoid the other's gaze.

"Your mom sounds like a really tough person~" The words are spoken with a little giggle accompanying them, but that doesn't take away from the earnesty in his tone.

"Captain America and... Bucky?" Now finally Pyo looks up at the comic book cover, brows knitted together in confusion. Why was there a Captain named America and a guy named after a bucket of water? Was that what people enjoyed reading in their free time?...

"That's why we need an alpaca! To be friends with the puppy~" Happily Pyo claps his hands.

"What do you mean how will I care for it? We just give it food and take it out on walks and cuddle it loads~"

“i got you a blanket.”

     – angel was always praised for how phenomenal of an actor he was. he was so in tune with his emotions enough as it was that whenever he adapted to playing a new character, he felt everything they felt in every scene which made for a more believable performance from the actor. it was during shooting, a heart breaking scene that lead to his character crying that they had to call for a cut. angel broke down, feeling his character’s emotions so heavily that he was unable to go on with the scene for a moment. “hm?” he asks, looking up at his friend with tear filled eyes before soon offering a small smile. “oh, thank you,” he responds, reaching out with shaking hands for the soft fabric.

It was the first time Pyo had been able to accompany his friend to the filming set and most of the day he had sat contently at the side - eyes shining with adoration as he watched Angel slip so easily into a different character. The emotional scene though had made him inwardly upset, upset that his friend's character and by that extent also his friend had to go through that.

So as soon as he could he fought his way through the stuff to get through Angel, holding out a soft blanket towards the sad looking male. "Let me help..." With those softly spoken words Pyo kneels down to drape the blanket carefully around Angel's shoulders. "Can I do anything else to make you feel better?"

Despite having quite good vision in the darkness, Pyo was still incredibly afraid of it. It had been that way even before he had become a hybrid and just being able to see better did little to change that. So until Jaemin lights the candles Pyo stays frozen in his spot, shoulders raised up and tensed - ready to bolt at a single sound.

He does relax a little when the soft shine of the candles lights up the walls and with a drawn out sigh he comes over to Jaemin. "Mhmm, my granny lives far from here. I think it would only scare her more if I called her now and told her of our situation...", he sighs as he sits down at the bar, "What about your family, Jaemin-ah?"

With a soft little hum - mostly to keep himself calm - Pyo puts the candles down where they are needed. He keeps most of them close to the bar though where they would probably end up sitting to keep their close surroundings well lit.

"Do you think we should light them already? We don't know if the outage will really hit this area..." Pyo's voice sounds hesistant and deep in thought he starts biting down on his lower lip. He didn't want to waste any candles, but if all was suddenly dark unlit candles wouldn't be of any help either..
