Mandatory "what is a f/o and s/i?" answer blurb for anyone who doesn't know
What is a "f/o" - f/o is short for Fictional Other it's a play on the term s/o; Significant Other, and is used in the self shipping community as a quick way to describe a character you ship yourself with, can also be seen as a faster way to write favorite character, I also use it as a substitute for the term boyfriend/girlfriend (so instead of "imagine your nonhuman boyfriend" which you might see on similar blogs my posts instead use "imagine your nonhuman f/o"), normally seen as romantic but different types of f/os exist such as platonic and family
What is an "s/i" - s/i is short for Self Insert, it's basically just the same as (your name), y/n, reader

Dilf alien f/o who wants a pet that can be left alone for a good amount of time, and can be socialized well, and can handle the atmosphere of the planet; pets aren't a big thing on his planet not in the same way they are here so finding something that fits the bill is hard, someone suggests looking off planet, and a planet with similar atmosphere to his near by just happens to be Earth.
And to the galaxy at large Earthlings are primitive things; they're born on their planet and normally die on their planet without ever leaving it, and the last time his people tried to make contact with Earth well they didn't even get a response because humans hadn't gotten the hang of intergalactic transmissions yet - yikes - but he hears they've gotten smarter; maybe even as smart as a flying hatchling if the reports are to be believed, so maybe one could be trained.
And so he goes through the long process of trying to pick a human; the more he learns about Earth the more he feels like it's picking a human for a pet is the equivalent of taking a stray in off the streets during a storm - it's kind, Earth is far too... too much.
In the end he picks a random inhabited place and starts going through his choices; he needed an older human - raising a young one along with his own would be too much and might give his hatchling weird ideas on how to behave, they needed to be without a family unit too - he couldn't adopt a whole family now, he goes through house and apartments alike trying to find a human the same way one might go through a pet shelter looking for a nice looking dog or cat.
When he comes across you; he almost misses you during a scan of the house; tucked away asleep under various blankets, the room is a mess he notes, 'clearly this one hasn't been getting proper care', but also he also notes the myriad of trinkets around the room; 'perfect, they have their own toys.' He thinks picking up one of the plush toys sitting on your desk.
A tiny noise from the bed draws his attention, a shift and the blankets are pushed out of your sleeping face; 'and oh my stars' you're just the cutest thing he's ever seen, maybe after that he notes things like medication or mobility aids and for a moment he looks a little bummed out; he hadn't accounted for a human that needed extra care - he had hoped for one a little more low maintenance, oh but then you stretch and roll over and he's so overwhelmed he feels like he has no choice - there can't be a better human; even if this one needs extra care; it's the one he wants to bring home.
So giving you something to make sure you stay asleep while getting you back on the ship and packed he sets to work packing a bag of your things, he doesn't bother with big things like furniture, but he's packing up all your little 'toys' and the clothing scattered about, there's a few electronics he can see is used frequently and while he isn't sure how well it will work on his planet he packs it up too; it will give him a good idea what he can give you on his planet.
He's glad he had the foresight to put you in a carrier on the ship since you wake up on the trip back home, you wake up still wrapped in your blankets with your pillows placed around, in what is essentially a big glowing cage, you scramble confused and disoriented maybe you can't quite see right due to just waking up or not having your glasses, and when he sees you frantically looking around eyes shifting between being wide and squinting.
Some tall creature makes it's way up to you and it's cooing and letting out little thrills you can't understand but the tone distinctly reminds you of how you'd call out to a stray cat, you struggle to back up as a few bars at the front of the cage dissipate for the creature to stick it's arms in.
You look so adorable struggling and almost hiding under the blanket like he can't get you there, he can't help but try to sooth you, mutterings of 'it's okay' and 'good pet' escaping him despite knowing you can't understand.
When he notes your squinting he places your glasses back on your face and you note your vision is very clear... did this thing clean your glasses while you were asleep? That's honestly just weird enough that you stop to really look around, and clawed hands are carefully fixing the blankets around your body to make sure your nice and snug on your way home.
I'm in a real big alien owner f/o with human pet s/i mood I've written a little for it but anyone want to see dilf alien f/o in a setting where he's getting a new pet
I just want a big alien to pick up up and squeeze my face and coo in a language I don't understand about how cute I am and treat me like a little prized pet - is that too much to ask
I got a f/o meme I made that's older then this blog that's wild - it's older then my second longest friendship - I have been in love with this same alien for years

Getting ready to juice a lemon for something (I don't know a tea or baking) when you see your alien f/o you offer them a bite of the lemon and they always happy to learn about humans and earth accept - immediate betrayal - they will remember this be careful when accepting any fruit from them in the future
