it really sucks that i feel that my time in community building was wasted. there were undoubtable good times, but it all really came crashing down. and i don’t know if it’s bitterness (probably is) but seeing the same people who half assed everything and put the unbearable weight on my shoulders walk away with a sense of community that i longed for and patting themselves on the backs for the successes i worked hard for really stings. and then to have the same people say “well, just give the community a chance, maybe you’re too closed off” like dude, i gave my soul to this community. i’m not closing myself off just for fun, im in pain.

i find it.....interesting when shias applaud me for finding my way to shiism through questioning, yet those same shias will blindly follow certain harmful and problematic practices/customs
