This is so good!
kl*mille fans: klaroliners are so horrible!!! they bullied le.ah off the show! everything is their fault!!! they’re just a bunch of trolls!!1!!1
kcers: what about how a whole bunch of you kl*mis started bullying and flat-out attacking joseph on twitter for not saying goodbye to le.ah, and then when he did, you went after him for his farewell not being “good enough” for you??? what about how a lot of kc fans went out of their way to make sure that people didn’t direct any mean comments towards le.ah the week she was supposed to be killed off the show???
kl*mille fans:
Leah is a shameful troll and Camels are the worst kind of bullies! 😡
❤❤❤❤KLAROLINE❤❤❤❤
Containment got a .6 in the ratings (1.72 million people watched). But I think sometimes pilots are higher because people are curious.
Lol your anons may be right. First episode and containment already adjusted down. Yikes.
Yikes is right. Premieres usually do open with higher numbers, so the fact that the show already lost half it’s lead in and is already doing crappier than the show that vacated the spot is not great news.
Karma is a shit, Julie! You only get what you deserve, and you don’t deserve success when all you do is mistreat your viewers!
Suite Française Official UK Trailer #1 (2015) - Movie HD
Here are Mr. Dibb’s tips about how to murder an epic WW II novel and a new technique to sedate an audience!
Hideous sleepwalking performance of Michelle Williams, always looking like a sleepiness sulky little girl pouting... a disastrous miscast!
My hunky belgian Matthias Schoenaerts was dashing on his Wehrmacht official’s uniform, spoke a flawless German (at least this time no one critized his accent...), but his acting seemed numbed (perhaps after several mugs of Stella Artois to dare tackle miss Williams grumpy grimace!).
Lucille and Bruno had no chemistry at all; even in the near fuck scene, she looked like an aquarium fish, forever in an open lips mode.
It’s insulting not to swallow such an hot ass, Michelle!
The remaining cast saves the day with satisfactory and convincing performances, namely Kristin Scott Thomas and Lambert Wilson.
Another dejá vu resounding flop in adapting a good book to the screen; it had everything to be an epic, but it’s just another movie to forget...
I know you are not talking about TO but you are missing big time PT's performances lol. She had to talk about werewolves many times last night and she was going with her "wooves" thing making me laugh and there was fight scene that had no light and JoMo and PT had to compensate vocally and you could hear PT's voice doing the grunts and the "haya" and I thought that only ross from friends missing from there to call for her to use her UNAGI! lol Those are the best moments of TO really ha ha
LMFAO, now that Davina is being written out literally the only entertaining thing left on TO will be Phoebe’s ridiculous performances. Weeches and wooves will always have a special place in my heart.
LMFAO so apparently Phoebe literally just tweeted the last sentence from this ask like 20 minutes ago.
Far from the Madding Crowd (2015 version)
Girls, forget about Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice“ mr. Darcy!
I give the you the perfect Gabriel Oak, from Thomas Hardy’s novel “Far From the Madding Crowd” , played by this hunky and talented belgian actor Matthias Schoenaerts!
A must-see!
Far From the Madding Critics...
I wrote here my views about mr. Peter Bradshaw’s critic to the 2015 film “Far From the Madding Crowd” published in “The Guardian” one year ago.
I’m not a native English speaker, I don’t read the newspaper, and this came to me through my sister, who has a postdoc in Literature and worships Victorian authors, when I told her about the movie I’ve watched on TV a week ago.
I've never seen so much envy, spite, snobbery and xenophobia altogether in one text!
Below some samples:
“John Schlesinger’s 1967 adaptation of Thomas Hardy’s Far From the Madding Crowd must be the hardest act to follow in cinema history”. Why? Haven’t you ever heard nothing is irreplaceable, apart from Human lives? I felt asleep after the first hour. The actors were ugly, bad hair & make-up, boring dialogues, dark scenarios… I’ve missed the remains, sorry!
“Thomas Vinterberg and his screenwriter David Nicholls take a fair stab at it in this eccentrically cast film. It is a faintly rushed, crushed version: a quart-in-a-pint-pot account of the novel without the sunlit expansiveness of the earlier, longer movie”. How could a Danish director of obvious little experience and a distasteful success (Oscar nominee for the "The Hunt") have the audacity to adapt a classic of English literature? Only your words are stabs, mr. Bradshaw…
“This role is very important: the vigilant Gabriel is virtually the spiritual centre of the story. But the part has mystifyingly been given to Matthias Schoenaerts, the hunky Belgian star whose Wessex accent has a strong tang of Antwerp. Everything about his demeanour is careful, tentative – and unrelaxed. He looks like he is concentrating on his diction”. Didn’t you, brilliant thinker, noticed that mr. Schoenaerts is the only non-British in the cast? Will he not be necessarily different? Doesn’t denote pride, commitment and talent trying to imitate the pronunciation of Dorset, albeit with a Flemish flavour? Does a shepherd character must have Sir Laurence Olivier’s diction to participate in a film adaptation of a classic of Albion’s literature? (Apparently yes, someone also criticized Michael Fassbender’s accent in Shakespeare’s "Macbeth" latest screen adaptation for the same reason, and I’ll be damned if an Irishman is no longer able to imitate a Scottish than any Englishman...wait! Isn’t mr. Fassbender half-German? Shame on him! )
Who buys tickets, watch movies and acclaims the work of actors/directors is the general audience, not a snobbish critic! In several countries, actors are doubled in the native languages, so no one gives a shit about accents… and let me tell you, mr. Vinterberg’s excentric vision of mr. Hardy’s most romantic novel focus on Bathsheba’s independent and avant la lettre behavior, and appeals to the 21st century women in a very a subtle but effective way: today we have “brains and means”, professional careers and we are independent from men except for sex and childbearing; so if we have to choose a mate for life, we don’t need rich old men drooling over us nor good-looking thugs ruining our lives… we need a “doggedly devoted” man “devoted(ing) his life to taking due care and protection of everything he cares about” – US! As soon as I put my eyes on mr. Schoenaerts’ Gabriel Oak, I thought –THIS IS THE ONE! – devotion, care, protection and a good fuck!
I had never read this novel, and I am not big fan of Thomas Hardy! Despite worrying about the female condition of his time, I dislike his dark writing or the sexist cynicism as he offers his women only the option of tragic fates, because it seems they couldn’t do otherwise! Only Bathsheva escapes (on her second choice…).
I absolutely loved this Gabriel Oak! I only watched the movie because of mr. Schoenaerts! What you said about him was utterly vain and envious…
From the film, I can only remember (besides the “hunky Belgian”….) Carey Mulligan’s performance, she’s very talented; Michael Sheen was ridiculous, I didn’t noticed the perilous Sgt…
My dear mr. Bradshaw, you will probably not even read this. More than one year has been gone, the film was not a blockbuster.
But more importantly, I'm no one of consequence. I am Portuguese, only one P.I.G.let ..., even if my country has the oldest borders in Europe, 873 years of History, and Portuguese is the native language of more than 200 million souls!
If you eventually move your eyes for this text, you will notice the grammatical and spelling errors, which will be a lot ...and honestly I don’t care! I can speak and write 4 languages, how about you? I challenge you to try to write a correct sentence in Portuguese (or Flemish, btw)! I’ll never ask you to speak, because it would kill me from laughing so hard!
Anyway, I dare to advise you to be more polite in your comments in the future, instead of making these asinine statements! #SorryNotSorry
Pretty much everyone: We want Klaroline!
Julie Plec: No, you know what? I'm going to take the one character that no one liked and make her have a one-night-stand with Klaus and get knocked up with a hybrid baby that shouldn't exist at all and make her some long-lost werewolf/hybrid queen of the bayou and have Klaus move to NOLA so he can start making gooey eyes at a bartending, hack psychologist Caroline 2.0 who pretty much fails at every point she tries to make, and completely destroy two and a half seasons worth of established canon. Yeah, that should work.
I'm in love with this prodigious belgian actor! All his roles are fabulous... the World is just starting to hear about him...
Okay..so if any of you Klaus and Caroline fans read my feed last night, my professor gave our class the greatest theory and view on Klaroline. The discussion came up in her excitement over the crossover, she watched the promo and got super excited. As our web class last night was about new media promotions and how to use them, so we kind of fell into it. When she expressed her excitement a couple of students asked her about ships, it was a pretty good balance in the class. A Klaus and Camille fan asked her why she was so enamoured with Klaroline, as it always comes up whenever she brings talks about her love of Klamille. She answered “Why do you want to settle?” and decided to give us a theory on how she sees the eternal ship. Also added that we have to remember this is the writer’s job, to sell us something so why fans may see no Caroline mentions in The Originals as Klaus not caring or moving on. She adds that was all the writers doing and if it were in true character, that would not be the case. Klaus is bewitched with Cami over his pain of losing Caroline. When Caroline finally admitted her feelings for him, we were left with a confession and hot hybrid sex. As Klaus ventures in 4×20 down to NOLA and receives the news that he will soon be a father, it was life changing. The possibility of leaving his mark on another life as Mikael had left on his. Shocked, scared and frustrated, we all know how the scene plays out. He see’s this girl, blonde hair, similar traits and he stands beside her. According to my professor, he was intrigued because he needed comfort, he needed someone to relate to, and the writers put Cami in Klaus line for that reason. My teacher brings up the fact that Klaus left Caroline a message, still wanting her to come to him when she was ready. Then we catch up to 5×11 with her confession. My professor explains that Klaus was fearful because of Aurora. We see that she was compelled to break his heart and that she did. Leaving Klaus to believe love is a weakness and to combat that he turns heartless. Adding that vampire feels things stronger and he is wreaked with heartbreak over her. Can’t get hurt if your heart is shielded by centuries of anger and hate towards love. In comes Caroline, who starts to open that up within Klaus. Makes him feel human after 1000 years of shutting his heart away. So in 5×11 he is fearful..maybe he read her wrong, or it was not what he thought. However, Caroline comes in “classic Caroline” and then follows up with a shock and confession of her feelings for Klaus. As this becomes bittersweet for our hybrid, he is happy but also in pain. Klaus has to leave and never come back, and because it is Caroline, he will abide by her wishes. As he does so, he returns to NOLA and misses that connection, that feeling with Caroline badly. This time, instead of returning to his we do not feel state, he tries to find something to replace that feeling…and in comes Cami. She is a rebound, and because of that Klaus becomes bewitched with Cami, falling in love with her, as the writers put it. However, as my professor sees it, as him falling in love with the idea of falling in love, because he was starting to fall in love with Caroline, missing her and longing for that feeling drive him to believe this facade with Cami. Moreover, it does not add up with Klaus beginning to fall in love with Caroline after so long, only to suddenly fall in love with Cami. I told her about the writers that love Klaroline, and she said “of course” it was the best-written romance on the show. Moreover, the reason it did so well is because the writers wanted to get one point across but it manifests into something more. That is the beauty of acting and the ship never would have taken off without Candice and Joseph’s flawless acting and chemistry. They sold the ship better and gave it so much more with their performances. She also added that in the end, this thing with Cami is okay for now. However, if the writers are looking for Epic love then they should keep this in mind. Caroline broke down the monster; Cami comforted the monster. Caroline did all the work and in the end, she should finally get his heart while giving hers. She also noted that it has many parallels with Bram Stokers Dracula and gothic romances, and that is what makes them better. She sends her love and thanks for enjoying her theory and says she cannot wait for the crossover. I did slip and tell her to watch because there is a phone call coming. So my Professor Dr Dilworth is a new addition to the Klaroline Shippers club. As for the Klaus and Camille fan that was in attendance they too have jumped ship, she said after she broke it down and explained it. It gave her new insight and agreed that it makes Camille look like the rebound chick.
Why Klaroline is the Best..According to my Professor

If you think Caroline doesn't love klaus, why do you ship them? Is it really a one sided kind of ship?
LOLwut? Caroline doesn’t love Klaus and Klaus doesn’t love Caroline because we’ve only seen the very beginning of this story. I am not into ships where they just swoon and fall head over heels for each other out of nowhere, I need a love story that is primarily a story first (and honestly I prefer a story that doesn’t have a prepackaged obvious ending you can see from a mile away). I am not someone who naturally gravitates towards ships anyway, I generally only become interested in stories that have potential in my mind and shipping a certain couple is only a facet of that. That’s what the draw is for me with KC, the fact that there is a tale to be told there and because it gives the opportunity for two of my fave characters to develop into something new and interesting. I liked KC because it gave Klaus and Caroline dimension in a way that they’d never had before, and in a way that no other characters could provide for them. Their relationship wasn’t just some barnacle on TVD’s ass, it had relevance to the overall story and also gave that story a really interesting and new dimension that it hadn’t had before. That’s why I ship Klaroline.
Bravo! ,👏👏👏👏

So, can you write a meta about what makes Klaus a better option for Caroline than Stefan? I'm not asking what makes klaroline better than steroline, it's not about the storyline, character development etc, it's about Caroline's choice from her own point of view, what would make Klaus the better choice in her eyes?
Sure, I don’t even have to think this over much and I don’t even think it needs to be a meta-length explanation. Liz said it best when she was on her deathbed, Caroline is meant to be extraordinary. She was extraordinary even when she was trying to be ordinary, she excelled at everything she did as a human and even when she was forcing herself into the confines of a human life she was always capable of being the best. Caroline has already lived the life of the ordinary girl and even when she was human it didn’t suit her.
And the thing is, Stefan wants nothing more than to be ordinary. To live an ordinary life with an ordinary girl and reclaim what he feels was robbed from him. And that’s okay. Stefan has already lived a life that’s completely unlike what most people could even conceive of, and it doesn’t work for him. He did lose out on a human life that he has come to realize that he really wants, so fighting to get that back is what’s right for him. Basically he’s had his time for those experiences and now he wants it to be over. However, if Caroline were to choose Stefan she’d be giving up all of HER life experiences that she wants or is too young to even know she wants, all for the sake of the life that Stefan wants. Stefan became a worse person through vampirism, but Caroline became a better one. Hitching herself to a man who basically wants her because she’s the “right” girl for his fantasy life in his mind would be awful, because Stefan doesn’t even want her, he just wants the missing piece to his puzzle and he thinks she’s a good enough fit (even though she is very clearly not). Stefan represents everything that Caroline should be leaving behind, which is why he’s the absolute wrong choice for her.
Klaus on the other hand is completely different. He’s like Caroline, even if he harbors some fleeting dreams of a simple ordinary life it’s something he’s just not capable of doing. Like Caroline, he has lived the life of an ordinary human and it wasn’t the right fit for him. More importantly, Caroline isn’t just some fantasy vampire queen to Klaus’ king in his own mind. He doesn’t want Caroline for any other reason besides the fact that SHE’S CAROLINE. He doesn’t want her to magically fit in his life, he wants their lives to fit together. He wants Caroline to give him as much as he wants to give her. He sees her as his equal and she’s his first and ONLY choice. He sees her as a whole and complete person, not as a counterpart to himself, and THAT’S the person he wants. That’s why Klaus is very clearly the right choice for Caroline.
And Klaus Always Put Her First, respected her choices and decisions. Even when confronted with having a baby, he called her to say he wanted her. Klaus is definitely The One for Caroline. The rest is trash, envy, resentfulnesd and bad writing...
