Hi! I just finished playing your game Shrouded in Your Love, and all I can say is that I absolutely loved it. And since I just fell in love with Brahms' character, I'd like to ask a few questions about him.
1.In one of the endings, it's mentioned that no one ever visited Brahms' grave, and that the only people who showed any interest after his death/disappearance were his landlord and his father. So, what was Brahms' relationship with his family like?
2.How did Brahms manage to kill our classmates/friends? The game makes it pretty clear that he isn't athletic or physically strong.
3.How do you think Brahms (while he was still alive) would have reacted if we had broken up with him?

Now, regarding your questions.. 1. They're.. fine? And by fine I just mean they don't fight much. His dad provides for him as best as he can but they're rather emotionally distant. They've reached a point where they assume that the other isn't interested in much conversation with one another. As far as Brahms and his dad are concerned, they have their roles and as long as those roles are fulfilled then there isn't much of an issue. Before Brahms died, they text once a month, only to announce that the money for his monthly living expenses has been sent. 2. He pushes them into the river. After he accidentally did it the first time (and some time has passed without him getting arrested), he's gotten it into his head that he could reasonably get away with murder with this method. He hasn't repeated the act a lot but there's really not much planning going on with Brahms, he 's fairly impulsive. 3. Brahms lacks the confidence to stand with you so he would've backed away quietly. To begin with, he's still in total disbelief that you ever wanted to date him so he think he deserves to be dumped. You'll see him sadly lingering around any place you spent a lot of time at and running away crying when he sees you.
This isn’t a question, but I just want to say that I appreciate all the games you’ve made! It always cheers me up to see you releasing a new project, they always brighten my day. Something about the way you write your love interests makes them so endearing to me (something = pathetic-ness).
I just finished playing ending 1&2 of Shrouded In Your Love, don’t know how to get the 3rd yet, but I gave a tip and hope you’ll continue making more! Seems like the reception is a little mixed and there’s a bitter betty who’s downvoting everyone—please don’t let that discourage you!! I’ve been writing yandere stories since I was 10…so it’s been like a decade now, so I see your vision with Brahms. You made him very likable despite the fucked up shit he does and I didn’t think you handled anything wrong. Mostly bc I think this is just a video game and us creatives should be able to write whatever we want, but you gave a warning for emotional abuse. Maybe some people didn’t realize they were signing up for a yandere when playing? Who knows.
Honestly, I see a lot of what I like to write in your games so please keep it up!! You’re doing so great 💕🫶🏻

I gotta be honest this ask had me jumping with joy the whole day and i spent my entire week wondering what I could draw that would give back as much joy.
This game didn't have too many endings so I didn't think a walkthrough was necessary but just in case you're still stuck, ending 1 is achieved by saying that you don't want to have anything to do with Brahms anymore (after what he did to Olive), ending 2 & 3 are achieved via the choices on what you want to do with Brahms after you're done snooping through his phone. Wanting to stay with him leads to ending 2, letting him go leads to ending 3.

Before this ask, I never really quite thought of that but it did get me thinking and after a few back and forths I ended with Rudy's being on August 8th and Nix's on April 11th, with no concrete reasoning other than vibes. To compensate for how long it took me to come up with a decision, I included some birthday headcanons along with some art ! (I hope you enjoy and aren't too upset with how long this took me) Rudy

If left to his own devices, he's not the type to make a big fuss about his birthday, at most he bought himself something special (probably a donut or something)
Won't tell you his birthday on his own so you'll have to ask him to find out
If he's still living with you, he might cook a bit extra to celebrate (won't tell you why)
Would be secretly pretty happy if you threw him a surprise party (under the condition that it's just you and his friends), might run away if the party had too many people.
Honestly, I feel like his friends would rope you into planning a surprise party with them.
Before college, his parents would leave him some money on the table with a birthday card before he wakes up so he can buy himself something nice.
When they come home, they'd stick a candle in a brownie as a replacement for the cake.
Now, they just video call him every birthday.
They take pictures of him blowing the candle every year and, no he will not show you. (unless.. you ask reaally nicely?)

The type who makes his birthday plans a week in advance. (Mostly because his birthday plans include going to the cinema to watch something and he wants to hype himself up for the movie).
Used to watch it with family, then had a loner phase where he watched it alone, and now that you're around he's begging you to watch it with him.
If you can't make it because you're busy, he will make up some excuse as to why he's gonna watch the movie on another date instead and you're not gonna let the birthday boy down right? (He just reeeallly wants you to go with him)
Gravitates towards horror, is perfectly fine when watching it by himself but will pretend to be scared if he's watching it with you.
Gets a lot of "happy birthdays" from people around him since he's been putting on this social butterfly persona in college.
The friends closest to him would give him a little something to celebrate, maybe buy him lunch or dessert.
His parents just text him happy birthday and send him a little extra money (believes he won't like to call since they think he's still in his high school loner phase)
Used to throw him parties for his birthday when he was a kid though

But about the DLC, as of right now I don't really have any plans on releasing a DLC or extra stories. Honestly, I'm kind of an amateur? I don't quite know how to implement it properly. As much as I like the idea, I fear I lack the skills to pull it off.
But if you just want more content in general, I'd be more than happy to answer asks about him with extra art on tumblr (as long as you're fine with waiting?). I did pitch the idea about adding an update with more voiced lines while we fix that last cursed CG (I swear we're still trying to fix it), hopefully it will be soon but college is kicking both me and my programmer down.

I think if he found it on his own then he wouldn't tell you (at first) because he thinks you'll get mad at him for snooping. He's not great at keeping secrets though so you're bound to find out pretty quickly just because he's acting sus and accidentally referenced something you wrote/drew. He'd be sure to secretly take pictures of anything you made and keep it for himself.
If you were the one that showed him your work then he's beyond elated and he'd start doing the same! (Honestly he's a little upset he didn't do it first). He'd start keeping a little sketchbook with little doodles of you. He's not a great artist but he'll learn anything if it's for you.
Either way, he'd be over the moon to know that you like him that much!

Sorry for the wait! I had the art ready for a while but then realized I never posted it!
His backstory was a little too outlandish compared to Rudy and Nix but essentially he was a rich kid who got kicked out of the house so he can learn life skills and shit (The maid outfit is actually borrowed from his home because he thinks that's what you wear to clean stuff or something). Since he was kicked out so abruptly, he didn't have time to find a place so he's (temporarily) rooming with mc (who he probably has class with?).
with disastrous results..
This is the route where mc will have to end up teaching and learning to do housework alongside him. I had a few ideas about him using only Victorian era books to learn about housekeeping but that's not set in stone.

Hii!! Thanks for sending an ask! Well, i'd love to say that i love all of them equally but i do have a few that i like slightly more? Purely from a 'fun to draw' stand point.
From the unreleased category, we have this guy. I was supposed to work on this game for another game jam right after otome jam but when i wrote the script i realized that the scale ended up being much bigger than what i could do within a month. The fact that i didn't know much about sci-fi and couldn't write convincing science jargon made this project impossible (for now). I genuinely want to get to him eventually but that depends on whether or not my writing improves.
From the pool of released games, we have the tablet from Help! After pulling one too many all nighters the objects around have turned into men! (stupid title i know, it was supposed to be a placeholder but we ended up keeping it). I'm sad that i didn't get to be the one to make his final sprite but i was pretty involved in the design process. I'd like to specifically point out his hair! Originally i wanted to give him a bowl cut with the micro bangs (so he can look as stupid as possible), but then my friend raised the idea of the hime haircut and i was sold. We ended up combining the hime hair with the micro bangs and honestly i think it's fun to draw.

I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed double trouble's blossoming!! I'm always a little nervous about how my earlier games would be perceived since it felt like i was fumbling around in the dark while making them.

I'm sorry to say that it wasn't them..? The sprites for Rudy and Nix's friends came from this assignment i had while otome jam was going on. I didn't wanna waste the time i spent on the sprites so i repurposed them as silhouettes for the game (mostly since a bunch of the designs were very outlandish and they didn't really fit..?) Again, sorry if i crushed your hopes here but if you're curious, i can reveal their sprites?
I wasn't sure which sprites were mistaken for the twins but i'm assuming this was the one people think was asher? This guy was honestly the main culprit on why the side characters ended up as just silhouettes. I had to toned down the silhouette of the original design since it was based off some kinda insect (and also his outfit isn't really college approriate i think??). His overall vibe didn't really fit the fun and stupid interactions he was having with rudy.
I'm fairly certain this in the one people mistook for florian? his outfit is fairly normal but i had a feeling he'd overshadow nix.

I wouldn't say that they're in the basement though, they're more like unread books on a shelf that i haven't had the time or brain power for?
In fact, there was originally 3 love interests in Maid to be Yours and one character got cut off due to time constraints. Also because i couldn't figure out how to make the story work for them? Originally the 3 love interests were gonna be on a spectrum from 'Good at housework' (Rudy), 'Decent at it' (Nix), and 'So bad at it that it unintentionally forces MC to learn alongside him'( 3rd guy that got cut). Honestly, i haven't figured why the MC would let him stay with them if he just created more work. I'd still like to add him someday (?), maybe for an update in the future.
Outside of Maid to be Yours, i had these 3 guys that were originally the first set of zodiac based characters. I ended up scraping the idea because a game with 12 love interests sounds like complete hell to make with my current capabilities.
There's actually a bunch more but this post would end up dragging on? In any case, you might see the rest in any future games i make!

Ooohh that's a tough question, i've never really thought about it while i was designing them.
As of now, their ethnicities are a big ol question mark??? The same applies for their heights, i didn't really think about it outside the general "rudy is taller than nix" guideline that i set for myself. Honestly, you can headcanon their heights as whatever you want!
