◓ the pokemon type legacy ◓

do you love generational challenges in the sims? are you a pokemon nerd? if so, this may be the legacy challenge for you. introducing the pokemon type legacy, an 18 generation-long challenge meant to explore what the sims 4 has to offer and, most of all, have fun! i’ve been working on the rules for a few months now and haven’t playtested everything, so bear with me if there are a few tweaks made along the way. you can see my pokemon type legacy gameplay here. please tag me if you end up doing this challenge! i’d love to see other people’s gameplay :D

some collections are difficult to complete and most are luck based. if you don’t complete a collection during the generation that it’s listed under, just continue that goal to the next generation

What to expect

Welcome to the OFFICIAL PAGE for the Legacy Stories Challenge made by: MissLollypop — The Storyteller and erinthesimmer — The Elaborator :)

Do you ever find yourself repeating the same steps as me? Create A Sim > Build a house > Have kids > Get bored. Yes? That's why I created this challenge! I have written realistic stories us to play out in the Sims. I also incorporated rules and aspirations that I feel the characters would want to achieve in relation to their story.

This challenge focuses on gameplay goals as well as skill based and career based goals, so a little bit for everyone!

NOTE: I WILL BE MAKING A SECOND VERSION THAT IS UNMODDED ONCE I HAVE 5 GENERATIONS WRITTEN

Want to change something? Go ahead! I didn't create this challenge in mind to restrict you, if you feel something else would suit a specific generation better, change it! I just hope you enjoy playing and get some ideas from the stories! Bare in mind some of these stories could be triggering for some people with sensitivity around Death, Trauma and Drugs. Everything that could potentially happen IRL, could also occur within these stories as personally I love to play as realistically as possible.

Rules

No money cheats (unless stated otherwise in the rules for story telling purposes)

No mods that make the game easier, we love a struggle here.

You may do anything outside the rules unless stated otherwise eg. If the generation requires to max a specific skill, you may still max other nonrelated skills.

You must complete the goals in each generation to fully complete it, however, if you would like the move onto the next generation as a toddler and come back to the previous generation after, that is also fine as long as you still complete everything.

Complete the goals in order for the story to make the most sense.

Any other children's traits can be selected, it's only the heir's traits that must be according to the rules.

There is a colour palette for each generation, this will be your sims favourite colours. Try to pick clothes/hair and decorate their home with this colour to correlate with each generation.

The Game Requirements

Many of the generations include multiple packs, therefore, it is recommended that you have all of them installed. If you don't have them you can always tweak the generations rules to change depending on which packs you own.

You must play with lifespan on Normal.

The Generations

Generation 1 - "Criminal has mid-life crisis and becomes a super parent"

Story: Growing up you were unloved and uncared for, consistently abandoned by parents that never gave you a second thought. As a result, you have found yourself with unpredictable emotions and a complete disinterest in maintaining a relationship with your family. When you become a teenager you decide enough is enough and run away without a second thought, comforted to know as an only-child there aren’t any siblings being left behind. With no consistent parental figure in your life instilling the importance and the impact of having a well-rounded education in your later life, you never attend a single lesson again. Having always struggled to fit in and find your crowd in school, there was nobody to miss you and question your complete disappearance. Instead, you spend your time taking advantage of kind strangers who welcome you into their home by stealing their valuable possessions to later sell. Your next meal relies on what’s been thrown into the dumpster that day, and with any luck, what collectables you happen to come across with value to sell.

During this time in your life you happen to meet the local drug dealer that is happy to take you on and train you in the business, thus beginning your criminal career. You begin your young adult life as a new yet reputable dealer with your lack of morals helping you go far in your career. Over time you work your way up in your career, gaining the respect of your peers and your superiors. And yet you’re left feeling unsatisfied. Unhappy. Here you are making a reputable name for yourself, morally or immorally, and it doesn’t feel like enough. You’re now older, wiser… and ready for more for your life. More than the life of crime. As an adult you meet somebody that has you reconsidering everything. They encourage the best version of yourself and lead you to re-evaluate all your choices until this moment. For the first time in your life, you see the joy and love to be found within a family through somebody else’s eyes. Dreaming for the one thing you swore you never needed… a family of your own with the right partner by your side. With the full support of your partner, you walk away from the criminal career and settle into your newfound life. A life filled with the white picket fence and 2 and ½ kids fantasy come true. Parenthood brings forward the anxiety and fear of not being good enough to provide a stable environment for your children. And yet despite your terrible upbringing you dedicate the rest of your days being the best parent and role-model that you can be. Helping your children with their homework, reading them stories, toddler playdates. If they want it, you give it. In the end the life of crime wasn’t your true calling… It was to be an incredible parent. And within that role you have finally found your self-worth.

To get started:

Move into a small empty plot in any town as a teenager with $0.

Generation 2 - E-Sports Geek makes a life changing decision

Story: You grew up a very happy child, your parents loved you and supported you with everything wanted to do. However, you were always a little different to your sibling/siblings, you were the shy and reserved one, you would much rather have spent time reading or doing your homework, than outside and never really had many friends growing up. But when you were a toddler, your parents introduced you to one of your next door neighbours' toddler and you fell in love, well as much as you can do at 3 years old... You continued to spend your childhood growing up with your best friend, keeping your crush on them a secret. You spent a lot of time gaming at home with your crush, who was very much like you, a little nerdy. Your mum/dad had lived a rough life and always warned you of the dangers going on outside when they were a criminal, so you chose to spend your free time, safe at home. However, they would still drag you to the park sometimes to try to encourage you to be 'normal'. Some might call you a little paranoid, but you would rather be paranoid and safe at home, than up to mischief like the rest of your siblings. You found this put a slight bump in your relationship with your parents though, as they were much more outgoing and thought you were a little strange to want to spend all your time inside. When you become a teenager, you finally open up to your crush about your feelings, well great thing is, they feel the same way back! You get your first girlfriend/boyfriend and end up making some friends at your local arcade, that you start up a club with. You finally come out of your shell a little and begin going to the geek convention, which you go to with your friends every time it's on in the City. When you were a little older, you set your goals on University to study Computer Science whilst also becoming an e-sports competitor, luckily your girlfriend/boyfriend is also coming to the same University as you. You go on to work as an e-sports gamer and excel at it. However, you're not very money driven and you do it for the passion. Everything was looking up in your life you get engaged to your girlfriend/boyfriend, when straight after they confess that they cheated on your with your friend. It is your choice from there, where your story goes. Will you stay with your partner and make it work? Or will you call it quits and continue your life without them?

Generation 3 - Woohooing your way to the top

Story: Growing up, you’re the complete opposite of your parents, sociable, outgoing and arrogant but your parents try to provide everything they can for you, that isn’t enough.

When you’re younger a friend invites you round to their home, you turn up to their mansion, shocked. This is it, this is what you want. You’re ambitious and super popular in school and you spend a large majority of your teenage life partying, you learnt your way around love very early and realized it’s incredibly easy to get what you want, when you are in someone’s bed…

After you finish school you get hired by this BIG SHOT Business, it’s your first day. This is it; you will be fabulously wealthy and everyone will know your name! Reality: You’re the runt. How can you run this joint? Get in the boss's bed, that’s how. There are 9 bosses above you and you woohoo with everyone of them to get promoted. Until that is, just before you reach the top of your career you get pregnant with the CEO’s baby! You’re certainly not going to tell them and risk losing the CEO position, a baby with the boss could ruin that. So you lie and tell them it’s not theirs, but you keep it, who else will continue your famous dynasty when you die?

You’re a terrible mother with no motherly instinct but you do love your child. You do not have time to take care of them, so you get the butler to take care of that.

Generation 4 - "Gay is the way"

Story: You grew up feeling very lonely with the family butler as your primary carer, with a workaholic parent who prioritized their career over everything and not knowing your other parent. However, after your acceptance into a prestigious private school you find yourself meeting like-minded individuals that you bond with and form a close-knit friend group. One night you find yourself sharing an unexpected kiss with a friend of the same-sex. That one kiss ruins a friendship that you truly valued, leading you to believe that it had all been a mistake. 

You graduate high school and move onto university to study Biology in the hopes of getting away from your parent and becoming a marine biologist. As a young child the family butler would always read you bedtime stories about the sea and the animals that lived within. This ignited your love and passion for marine life.

After graduating you move to Sulani to pursue your life-long dream. One day at work, you unexpectedly meet a perfect stranger, also a conservationist, and bond over your love for the ocean. You fall in love with this perfect stranger, get married and have children. A family. This should be the dream… right? Except it isn’t. Something seems to be missing, a part of yourself long buried. Eventually you are hit with the realization that whilst you love your partner… you aren’t in love with them. Fear and guilt over what could be ruined but no longer willing to deny yourself the chance of true happiness, you come out to your spouse as gay. As terrifying as it is you cannot force yourself to stay in a marriage, happy or not. You and your spouse deserve more. You file for divorce.

Is the divorce mutual with understanding and love? Will you remain friends committed to your family unit? 

No matter the outcome you go on and fall in love once more, for the first time in your life being completely honest with yourself in what you seek with a partner. You and your same-sex partner go on to adopt a child into your family and finally… your family is complete.

Generation 5 - "Parting is such sweet sorrow."

Story: From the very beginning of your life, you valued the importance of having a family. You believe that biological and found family are one and the same. You’re a true romantic at heart and an all-round cheerful person, it’s no surprise that you are often found curled up enjoying the latest romance novel that you could get your hands on. The romantic interests in the novels set the tone for what you expect from your own romantic prospects. No gesture is too great, and you often spend your time daydreaming about what romance high school could bring. The time comes for you to attend high school, it is within those very school walls you happen upon your person that you wish to spend the rest of your life with. The books had it right. The sappy, passionate and emotional turmoil that is teenage relationships. You fully invest yourself into that person and the relationship, and they in turn return the sentiment. Despite the warnings from your parents to not set your hopes up too high, you know that this is your soulmate.

With the end of high school comes adult life, and not wanting to waste any time your partner gets down on one knee and asks you to marry them. With a delighted “yes!” you know the rest of your life is about to begin. Not long after moving into your new home you and your partner discover that you are expecting a baby. What should’ve been the happiest and most joyful experience of your life turns into your worst nightmare. Just before the arrival of the baby, your partner unexpectedly dies. The fairy tales in your favourite romance novels never covered this soul-destroying experience. Feeling utterly alone and heartbroken with an infant to care for. Your dream family has been shattered. With a child utterly dependent on you for survival, you decide to pursue writing to support your family. Becoming a freelance author is all you could have ever dreamed of, and yet you find yourself struggling to put words onto paper without your partner by your side. How will you adapt to being a single parent and overcome the struggles that come with it? Will your novels become best sellers or utter failures? Will you ever move on from your lost love and marry again?

Generation 6 - "It’s a beautiful day to save lives."

Story: “Where there is love there is life.” All you have ever been told is that the very root of life is love itself. Without love, life will never hold any fulfilment or joy or peace. Being raised by a romance author should have you believing in these very desires. And yet the biggest lesson you have learned is that where there is love there is great sorrow. The loss of your independent sense of self. Love should be the greatest challenge that brings the greatest rewards and yet when you think of love, you picture your single parent. Their anguish over their lost love. To never again feel entirely whole. You couldn’t think of a worse fate than to fall in love. Growing up in the shadow of a deceased parent you never truly knew haunts your every step. To feel the absence of a person who never got to help you with your homework or give you dating advice, and to feel like you must step up for your parent and replace that empty space in their heart. You vow to yourself that you will never find yourself in that position. You will never fall in love. Having known just how short life can be, you intend to live your life in fulfilment of everything except love. After graduating university, you go on to become a successful doctor. Your career is very important to you, and you enjoy being able to care for the most vulnerable. However, a time consuming and high-ranking career cannot dampen your adventurous streak. One of your lifelong goals is to climb the highest mountain in Mt. Komorebi. As a non-committal sim you like to date around without exclusivity, generally with multiple sims at one time. One night you are attending yet another party and find yourself having unprotected woohoo with three different sims in one night, two of which are co-workers and another whom you met outside of your working environment.

Outside of work you’ve never truly cared about responsibilities and expectations, and the consequence of this lifestyle eventually catches up with you when you find yourself pregnant, with no knowledge to which of those three sims is the other parent to your child. You suddenly find yourself with a greater responsibility than you could have ever anticipated. After doing a paternity test to determine the parent to your child, you both must proceed on how to go forward. Does the other parent even want to become a parent themselves? Do they wish to be a part of their child’s life? And if so, what is the best route to take? Do you co-parent separately, or do you decide to give this family unit a chance and raise the child together? Is it worth it for your child to take a chance on love, despite having first-hand knowledge of what sadness it could bring? Or is the non-committal life what’s right for you through to the end?

Lucid Legacy Challenge!

Welcome to my 10 generation Lucid Legacy Challenge!

Creating my very own legacy challenge has been a dream of mine for years. Im so proud of how this challenge came out and, most importantly, I hope you love it just as much!

Sims challenges are not meant to restrict you! Each generation will have goals and descriptions, but everything can and should be customized to your gameplay style!

Gen One

Farmer Family

The simple life is the life for you! Tending to your farm, nightly family dinners, and knowing everyone in your community. You're living the small town dream. You and your partner are best friends! Not only best friends, but almost the same person. You have the same goals in life and help each other achieve them! Working together to grow your garden and take care of your animals is only the beginning. Once you started having children, something you've always dreamed of, your farm only expanded from there! Everyone in the house has their own jobs; whether that be cleaning, gardening, cooking, tending to animals, etc. You make money by selling your own products and over time, you become the biggest family run farm in town! Although you love all your children, as you get older you realize there needs to be someone to pass your land onto. You've worked so hard on it your whole life after all! Out of all of your children, there seems to be a clear choice on who it should be. You live your last days preparing this child to run the farm once you pass, and feel comfort in knowing they will continue your legacy!

Goals:

Have the Family Oriented and Loves Outdoors traits

Complete the Country Caretaker Aspiration

Max the gardening skill

Must live on at least a 50x40 lot

Start on only a portion of your lot, expand throughout your life until the entire lot is farm land

Gen Two

Content Creator

Although they would never admit it, you have always been the outcast in your family. Things that came naturally to them were always undesirable to you. You love them and they love you, but that doesn't change the obvious. When they were all getting dirty outdoors, you were in your room in your own little world. Video gaming is your number one passion! After attempting to conform to farm life your whole childhood, your parents ended up getting you a computer as a teen and your world changed from there. Playing games, streaming, watching other gamers, making friends online- you realized for the first time ever just how big the world is beyond your small town! Your teen life was spent staying up as late as possible and gaming until you couldn't keep your eyes open anymore. After becoming a young adult and being immersed in fantasy worlds for years, you decide to move to the city for a fresh start! Talk about culture shock, everything was different here from where you grew up! Luckily for you, you meet your future spouse soon after moving which makes the transition a lot easier. You start your streaming/YouTube career and blow up! Your videos become so popular that you become a B-lister! You're known as a down to earth celebrity to most, probably because of the way you grew up. In fact, most of the money you earn goes straight to your child! Your parents let you be exactly who you were despite it being very different from them, and you want to do the same thing for your child. Even if that means spoiling them rotten!

Gen Three

Disillusioned Dreamer

You can achieve anything you want to- right? Growing up being an only child, you were the apple of your parent's eyes. Okay maybe that's an understatement. You got everything you wanted growing up. You wanted a pet? They got two for you. You wanted to travel? They brought you anywhere in the world. You decided you wanted to be a musician? They bought you the most expensive instruments to choose from. In fact, that's exactly what happened! Your parent was famous for their passion, so why can't it be the same for you? You fell in love with making music and, more importantly, the idea of being famous. One day you will go on a world tour and be the most famous musician in the world!! Fast forward to your adult life: you're living in a place payed for by your parents, you spend a lot of time at bars and parties, and (worst of all) you're not famous for your music. Why are all your dreams not coming true? You spend many nights performing on the street, at cafes, at bars, or anywhere really. The only good thing to come out of these performances was meeting your spouse. After a long defeating night of playing music to strangers who couldn't care less, you meet the one person who took the time to listen and appreciate your music! Someone finally understanding your musical genius? It felt like love at first sight Your parents ended up buying you a music store for you to run once they realized your music career was most likely not taking off (of course they didn't say that part to you). While you loved owning your own business centered around music, you knew it wasn't your life calling Even though your dreams never became reality, you never stopped hoping. You constantly told your kids (and anyone who would listen) that one day you will tour the world as a musician! You'll show them one day...

Goals:

Have the world famous celebrity aspiration, but do not complete it

Have the music lover and Self absorbed traits

Maintain at least 'good friend' level friendship with both of your parents throughout your life

Go all in on different hobbies as a child until you find music

Perform on streets, bars, coffee shops, your music store, etc.

Gen Four

Bohemian Backpacker

You've always been a 'go with the flow' type of person. Most of your relationship with your parent growing up was them telling you how they will 'travel the world one day'. Of course they were talking about their delusions of being famous, but all you heard was 'travel'. Every once in a while, while hanging out at your parent's music store as a kid, you'd meet someone from a part of the world you've never been to. You always had a million questions and wanted to experience it for yourself, but where should you live as an adult? The answer: everywhere! You decide to pack everything up and see the world! From the beaches of Sulani to the snowy peak of Mt. Komerebi, you want to experience it all! If there was a non-materialistic trait, you would have it. Material possessions only distract people from appreciating Mother Nature anyway! You (and your partner) sell photographs or collectables to get by, but the goal for you is never to make a lot of money. In true free spirit fashion, you never get married. I mean who needs a piece of paper to prove how much you love someone? You still have kid(s) and have a beautiful and healthy relationship. That's all that matters. You spend your life embracing different cultures and appreciating the beauty of the world.

Gen Five

Remote Writer

If there was a contest for most introverted person in the world, you wouldn't even enter because that sounds too social for you. The only company you need is your own mind. Besides, when you grow up moving around as much as you did, it's hard to make connections with other people. Luckily, that's just how you like it. Your parent was obsessed with seeing the world, but you're obsessed with creating your own worlds. You've wanted to be a writer for as long as you could remember. You acted like an adult even as a child. Your parent's view of the world was definitely not shared by you. In fact, you wasted no time in moving out on your own. Finally it was time to live life your way- the right way. The only thing you didn't expect or plan was meeting your partner. Most of your relationship was formed online instead of in person, Which is how you preferred it. Once you did meet in person though, you moved in together and eloped as soon as possible! I guess when you know, you know. You spend most of your time writing in your office and having your daily routine that you don't change. Even writing best selling novels and having kids doesn't make you stray from your norm. That is until you have a new idea for your next book... You become obsessed with the paranormal! You even decide to move your family into a secluded haunted house in order to write this book. Which is without a doubt the most spontaneous thing you've ever done in your life, maybe even more than getting married so quickly. You end up leaving behind a legacy of books you wrote and the family you had... but most importantly the books.

Spooky Soulmates

You've always been a believer in fate. Growing up was hard in a family like yours. Never having many social interactions and having been raised by your strange parents, you've always been a little different. Thanks to fate, you meet someone as a child who is just like you! You two always seem to click and there's times when you feel like the same person. After being best friends, you start dating as teenagers because it just felt right. To be honest, you've been in love with them your whole life! When your parent moved your family into a haunted house, fate struck again. You couldn't believe there's this whole other part of the world out there, and at the same time it made complete sense! The only person who believed you though was your partner. Being the only person to confide in about this made your bond that much stronger (if that was even possible). After the initial shock of learning about the paranormal, you realized there's a reason it came into your life. You're a medium. No wonder why you've always felt so different! Your whole life now made sense and you can see how you've been pulled to this destiny. You even hone your skills enough to eventually become a paranormal investigator! Once you and your partner get married, you buy a house of your own that is not haunted. When it comes to your career, while you're very passionate about it, you decide it's best to not bring work home with you if you can help it. As much as your job means to you, your relationship was and always will be the center on your world. You fill your home with beautiful memories and children. Growing old together with your best friend and soulmate, you are endlessly thankful to the universe for bringing you two together.

Furry Friends Furever

Animals are so much better than humans. Your family cat growing up was your best friend! You were always a little socially awkward, but animals never judged you. You took your pet to the vet anytime they needed it, and it was there that your animal fixation grew. Adults can spend all day with animals instead of other people? Why wouldn't everyone do that?? You grew up seeing your parents have the most perfect relationship ever and thought that you should have the same thing, so you married your first ever partner just like they did. Only for you, it wasn't meant to be. After having kids with your spouse, you both realize you can't force the relationship anymore. You decide to get a divorce and split custody of the kids. Even when it's the right thing to do, divorce is hard, so you decide to focus on what makes you happy- your business. Your vet office ends up thriving after throwing yourself into your work. No more forcing things that aren't meant to be! You end up never getting remarried or having another long term relationship again. Some people (like your parents) would feel empty without a partner to share their life with, but you spend your life with your animals and children. You wouldn't have it any other way.

Healing Heart

You try to spread peace everywhere you go. Watching your parents go through a divorce when you were a kid really changed you. You didn't understand why they couldn't just get along or why they got together in the first place if they ended up being so different? You hated when people fought and that's all you saw from them growing up. You make it your mission in life to spread light and joy everywhere you go because there's just not enough of it! You work in the self-care industry teaching yoga, giving massages, doing nails, and overall trying to make people feel good. You try to always practice what you preach, living a healthy lifestyle yourself. You tend to stay away from romantic relationships because of what happened with your parents. You love the idea of falling in love and spending your life with someone, but the hurt that could come from that just isn't worth it to you. In a possible lapse of judgment, you have a one night stand with your best friend. It definitely wasn't planned but the result will be permanent because... you end up having a baby together! Despite this, you decide not to start dating. You're too worried it would ruin your friendship or, worse, end in you two breaking up and making your child go through the same thing you did. That's your biggest fear. You remain best friends as you raise your child together, always living right next to each other and being very hands on parents. There's times where you find yourself wanting more, but your inner voice talks you out of it every time. Until... One day, your child already being a teenager at this point, your best friend confesses their love for you! You've both always felt it, but neither of you acted on it until now (and when your child was conceived of course). The thing that you've lived your whole life thinking was your biggest fear, suddenly didn't seem so bad. The unthinkable happened. Your mind set changed in an instant and you didn't want to spend another second not being with your person. You feel a weight being lifted from you when you finally allow yourself to love. You didn't know happily ever after existed until you experienced it yourself, and you live the rest of your life being head over heels in love!

Quirky Creations

You're a thrift store come to life. For as long as you can remember, people have always described you as quirky. You gladly accept this label! You try and make just about everything you can from scratch. Need a new pair of socks? You knit them! Want a candle for your room? You hand dip one! Your room growing up becomes a collection of various nicknacks and your own artistic creations. You start dating someone as a teen who you don't have a lot in common with- a result of teen rebellion maybe? Well, one thing lead to another and you end up having a baby! You tell your partner and they don't end up being as excited as you to say the least. They end your relationship and refuse to be in your child's life. Of course this isn't how you wanted things to go, but they made their decision and you make yours. You're so excited to be a parent and luckily have the help of your own parents. As your baby gets a little older, you realize you'll need to find reliable income and live independently at some point! You always sold your creations on Plopsy, but you're too extroverted to do that forever. You decide to open a little shop where you sell your own creations as well as other vintage goods! This shop is the physical version of your personality- Quirky! From old books, to clothes, to antiques; if you can find or make it, you sell it! As luck would have it, you meet your future spouse at your own store! Your personalities match perfectly and they even embrace your child as their own- and you do the same! Both being single parents is something that bonded you from the beginning. You get married and have even more kids together! Your big blended family ends up being your favorite creation you've ever made.

Occult Obsessed

If you could choose to change your identity, what would you pick? You discovered your life purpose the day you found a book on occults as a kid. Your parents shop was always collecting old books that you liked to go through. You loved reading but the subject of the book never stuck with you until now. Are Vampires real? Mermaids? Spell Casters and Werewolves?? At first you loved learning more about this world of fantasy, but then that fantasy became a reality. Being a person of logic, you learn everything you can about each occult, but it wasn't enough. Once you become a young adult you decide to set out to find answers first hand. After traveling to what felt like each corner of the world, you end up meeting someone of each different occult type. You learn from them, even the interactions that aren't as friendly show you so much about their world. Each time you think you should be satisfied with the knowledge you've gathered, you only want to know more. After your travels, you decide there's only one thing to do. Become an occult. You pick the occult that you've grown the most obsessed with and do whatever it takes to become one yourself! Moving forward you completely immerse yourself in this occult and the community you have as a result.

Goals:

Find a book about an occult in your parents store as a kid

Read/research about these occult types: mermaid, spell caster, vampire, and werewolf

Have book worm trait

Travel as a young adult to meet each four occults.

Pick an occult to become once you've met every one.

The Sims 4 Stereotypes Legacy Challenge

I wanted to make a challenge all about stereotypes and how some people imagine them. Of course, these don’t apply to any-human being and a lot of these were inspired by movies. Such as gen 3 is inspired by Mean Girls. 

If you do this challenge using the hashtag #ts4stereotypes so I can see. 

Terms of Use: Do not claim as your own. You can make an edit to this challenge as long as you credit me. 

The Base Rules:  

No money cheats expect when buying your founder’s lot. 

CC allowed. 

No Mods that give you a disadvantage over different players. I would recommend having MCCC and UI cheats. 

If you don’t complete a goal you lose the challenge. 

Generation 1: The Athlete 

You’re very courageous and love to be up and about. Your very confident in your skills and thinks you have what it takes to be an athlete. You don’t spend much time with your kids as you are always busy on the field.

Traits: Self Assured, Hot-Headed, Active. 

Finish the bodybuilder aspiration. 

Master the athletic career. 

Only have twins. 

Marry a 5-star celebrity as a YA. 

Get divorced as an Adult and later re-marry. 

Master fitness and swimming. 

Have a very weak relationship with your kids. 

Generation 2: The Business Person

Your very practical and don’t have time for games. You like to be taken seriously that why you love being a business person. You love living the life of luxury and only want the best for your kids. 

Traits: Materialistic, Family-Oriented, and Genius. 

Finish the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration. 

Master the Parenting skill and logic. 

Master the business or spokesperson career. 

Earn enough money to be able to put your heir into college until graduation. 

Your home must have an office.  

Generation 3: The Fashionista

You always had everything you wanted, money, clothes everything. But you always needed more. Your daddy’s little girl. You always had dreams of making it big, being in magazines, having your line, and having paparazzi at every corner. 

Traits: Self Absorbed, Snob, and trait of your choice. 

Finish the World Famous Celebrity aspiration. 

Master the Style Influencer career or the Modeling career (requires this mod)

Master the Charisma, Photography, and Media production. 

Become a 5-star celebrity. 

Live in Uptown in Say Myshuno. 

Be a college drop-out to pressure your dreams. 

Generation 4: The Nerd

You always love anything nerdy. You have a gaming poster all over your room and adore hacking. While your mom wants you to become big you want to stay in your room and code and play video games. Your spouse never minded you being you. 

Traits: Geek, Loner, and trait of your choice. 

Finish the Computer Whiz aspiration. 

Master the Tech Guru career. 

Master the Programming and Video Gaming skills. 

Be best friends with your spouse. 

Make at least 5 apps. 

Generation 5: The Politician 

Your parents always supported your dreams. Your dream is to be one of the greatest politicians of all time. You love anything history. You always either being in the office creating laws and bills or giving big heroic speeches. You love going to college and want to unit everyone. 

Traits: Good, Outgoing, and Neat. 

Master the Politician career. 

Master the Academic aspiration. 

Master the Research and Debate skill and Charisma. 

Attend University. 

Marry a sim from the opposing university. 

Be either in the Debate Guild (Britechester Uni.) or The Brainiacs (Foxbury). 

Generation 6: The Doctor

You wanted to help and save people. After you lost the love of your life you wanted to make sure others don’t. You devote the rest of your life to saving others even if it includes ignoring your kids. After you lost your soulmate you never love again, until you become an elder. 

Traits: Gloomy, Bookworm, and Paranoid. 

Master the Nerd Brain aspiration. 

Master the Logic skill and Wellness skill. 

Master the Doctor career. 

Kill your sims soulmate before your sims become an Adult and later get married as an Elder. 

Generation 7: The Criminal

You were always ignored. Your parent always forgot about you and left you at home up to mischief. When your other parent died, you were heartbroken, and begin living your life ;ike you were going to lose it tomorrow. Even though you didn’t want children, you love your child with all of your heart. 

Traits: Kleptomaniac, Evil, and Non-committal. 

Master the criminal career. 

Master the Mischief and another skill of your choice. 

Master the Public Enemy aspiration. 

Have 1 child. 

Have a teen pregnancy. (requires this mod)

Start this generation with $5,000. 

Earn enough money to be able next generation through university. 

*If you do not have access to mods get your sim pregnant within 3 days of their YA life. 

*If your heir is not female, get another sim pregnant and you get stuck with the baby.  

Generation 8: The Chef

You love to cook and bake. You have a dream of opening a 5-star restaurant and being head-chef. You love cooking dinner every night for your family. Your parent was always there for you while your other wasn’t. You don’t want that to happen to your kids and try to keep your marriage together even though it’s on the rocks. 

Traits: Foodie, Perfectionist, and trait of your choice.

LIFE GOALS LEGACY CHALLENGE

One of the most forgotten features in The Sims 4, in my opinion, is the aspiration system. Most of the time you just slap one on that fits a sims character and never acknowledge it ever again. So, I made a 12 generation legacy challenge based around them! I chose what I feel are the most interesting aspirations from each category and designed a generation around it! RULES

This challenge does not follow the traditional legacy rules, however some of them do apply.

You cannot use any cheats. You may use the free real estate cheat to buy your first home but that’s it.

You cannot take money from a sim that moves in with you.

All heirs must complete the aspiration, career and skills listed for them unless otherwise stated.

TIME SKIPPING

As this legacy has more gens than a traditional legacy and most people struggle to complete those, I decided to add an optional “feature” to speed up the challenge. This is called time skipping. Here’s how it works:

If you have completed all of a gen’s tasks and your sim has an heir you can perform a time skip. To do this, age up all of the sims involved in your challenge how every many ages it would take for your heir to become a young adult. For example if your heir is a child, you would age everyone up twice. If a sim would go past elder you can either leave them as an elder or kill them with something like MC Command Center.

Please note this is entirely optional and you do not have to do it if you don’t want to!

THE GENS

GEN 1| The Troubled Musician: You’ve dreamed of making it in the music industry for years now but nothing has ever worked out. Maybe you could turn your sorrow into songs?

Aspiration: Musical Genuis Traits: Gloomy, Creative, Music Lover

Complete the Musical Genius aspiration.

Reach level 6 of the entertainer career while in the muscian branch.

Quit your job when you reach level 6 of the career to pursue writing songs as your sole profession.

Live in the San Myshuno Arts Quarter for your entire young adult life.

Reach Level 10 of the singing skill and  at least level 5 of the guitar and piano skills.

Partake in the Karaoke Competitions (every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday) in the Planet Honeypop Karaoke Bar at least once a week.

GEN 2| The Clumsy Dancer: You’ve wanted to dance your whole life long but were never really good at it. You might have been picked on when you were younger but you’re determined to prove all of your bullies wrong in your adult life.

Aspiration: Body-Builder Traits: Active, Clumsy, Dance Machine

Complete the Body-Builder aspiration.

Reach level 10 of the athlete career.

Reach level 10 of the athletic skill and level 5 of the dancing skill.

Have had 5 failed relationships.

Marry a bookworm.

GEN 3| The Animal Lover: You’ve always related more to animals than people. Your furry friends just seem to get you a lot more than any human companions ever did.

Aspiration: Friend of the Animals Traits: Vegetarian, Cat Lover, Dog Lover

Complete the Friend of the Animals aspiration.

Live in Brindleton Bay for your entire adult life (young adult, adult, elder).

You cannot work a real job but can only make money from gardening, pet presents and your vet clinic.

Own a 5 star vet clinic.

Reach level 10 of the pet training and veterinary skills.

You can only have a strong relationship (friend and up) with animals and your s/o for your entire young adult life.

GEN 4| The Socially Awkward Comedian: You want to be funny but it’s just so hard. Like what if people think your jokes are dumb? What if they don’t laugh? People are mean sometimes and it’s okay to be scared of that!

Aspiration: Joke Star Traits: Loner, Gloomy, Good

Complete the Joke star aspiration.

Reach level 10 of the entertainer career whilst in the comedian branch.

Perform a stand up comedy routine at the previous heirs funeral.

Reach level 10 of the comedy Skill.

GEN 5| The Convict: So you like stealing things? Yeah it’s a little weird but everyone has a guilty pleasure or weird hobby, right? Right? Okay, so maybe it’s illegal, but you do you! You do you.

Aspiration: Public Enemy Traits: Kleptomaniac, Goofball, Childish

Complete the Public Enemy aspiration.

Reach level 10 of the criminal career.

Make 5 enemies.

Rob each of your enemies houses at least once.

Only have a good relationship with one of your kids, this kid has to be the heir to the legacy.

Reach level 10 in the mischief skill.

GEN 6| The Black Widow: Making money is hard. You happen to have a… unique… way of making it. That doesn’t make you a bad person. Yeah. You’re still a good person. Yeah.

Aspiration: Serial Romantic Traits: Evil, Materialistic, Snob

Complete the Serial Romantic aspiration.

You cannot have a formal career.

Marry 5 different sims, take their money when they move in with you, and have them mysteriously “disappear”.

Finally get married to the ghost of your first spouse.

Only have one kid.

GEN 7| The Family Person with Commitment Issues: You’re parents were never really there as a kid and because of that you’ve always craved a big happy family. There’s just one problem. You have SERIOUS commitment issues.

Aspiration: Big Happy Family Traits: Noncommital, Jealous, Romantic

Complete the Big Happy Family aspiration.

Reach level 5 of the doctor career, then quit and join the critic career.

Reach at least level 8 of the critic career.

Get married to the first sim you have a relationship with as a young adult, but get divorced on your birthday.

Get married to a new sim as an elder.

Reach level 10 of the parenting skill.

GEN 8| The Chef: That’s it. You’re a chef. No fancy story-line. Just a chef.

Aspiration: Mater Chef Traits: Lazy, Foodie, Slob

Complete the Master Chef aspiration.

Reach level 8 of the culinary career in the chef branch.

Quit your job at level 8 and open a restaurant.

Get the restaurant to at least 5 stars.

Know the recipes to all the city living, cats and dogs, dine out and jungle adventure special dishes.

Master the cooking and gourmet cooking skills.

GEN 9| The Squeamish Archaeologist: You love archaeology. It’s your biggest passion in life. The beautiful landscape of Selvadorada calls your name each and every day. You also happen to be terrified of creepy crawlies and rodents. So that’s fun.

Aspiration: Archaeology Scholar Traits: Squeamish, Genuis, Clumsy

Complete the Archaeology Scholar aspiration.

You cannot have a formal career.

Spend your entire young adult life adventuring in Selvadorada.

Complete the Ancient Omiscan Artifacts and Omiscan Treasures collections.

Reach level 10 in the archaeology skill and level 5 of the selvadoradian culture skill.

GEN 10| The Farmer: You’re like the most eco-friendly, eclectic, quirky, vegan sim ever and yes you do have an etsy store because why would you not have an etsy store. #quirky #vegan #etsy.

Aspiration: Freelance Botanist Traits: Loves Outdoors, Vegetarian, Perfectionist

Complete the Freelance Botanist aspiration.

Planets Legacy Challenge ☆

Welcome to the Planets Legacy Challenge! This challenge was written by @grnitefalls, @simbee, and @oxkenstead! If you are going to play this challenge use the tags: #planetlegacy and #plg1, #plg2 (the number representing the gen # you are on!)

Basic Rules -

No money cheats except for freerealestate for your first house!

You can live in whatever world you want to.

Keep the lifespan on normal.

No cheating!

You must use the traits/aspirations/careers given! The only exception is if you don’t have the pack they come with!

Sadly, growing up with one parent being pretty lonely had an effect on you. You feel isolated as well, leaving you to fill the void with anything related to books. Since you read books so often, you decided to start writing them. Since you’ve never really had much interaction with others, you find it hard to socialize and be romantically involved with your partner, so you end up ruining every relationship you’re in. Thank god for your books.
