I Am All In Rewatch - Jess & Rory - Episode 3x22
And I think she was right to let Jess go because what kind of you know, who calls and doesn't say anything and then just listens and then hangs up. I mean, please, I mean, this is this is an option for your future...Let's just rewind here a little bit. We we we have to realize how much pain Jess is in and how confused he is and how his world is just blown apart. His dad doesn't want him, his mom doesn't want him, he's got Luke kicked him out. Nobody wants him, and he doesn't feel worthy. He does, but he wants he's hanging on. You know, that phone call scared me actually. That's the kind of phone call when somebody hangs up and it's like they make a decision. You know, it's like that kind of depression and loneliness. I mean, that guy needs somebody to reach out. He really needs help. You know. It really hurt me, It really really really hurt me, you know, so we can you know, listen. I I get this way too, and everybody does you get all judgy about things because it's just a TV show, But but look at the look at the character, look at what he's going through, and it's it's and that was a lifeline for him. That was a call that he didn't have to say it, but the call really meant save me...It's actually a very beautiful scene. -Scott
