Girl, Just Leave Me Alone!

Storyline: You get a Backstage Pass to see Michael’s music video “Leave Me Alone” but what you didn’t know is that Michael wrote the song for you because..

Warnings: Toxic relationships, heartbreakers

It was early 80s, Michael had a little break from the recording of the Thriller album and took you on a public place. He disguised himself so he could enjoy the moment with you.

You: Michael, the landscape is awesome don’t you think?

He seems distracted

You: Michael?

Michael: Uhm..sorry [your name], I really wasn’t paying attention.

You: Is there something bothering you?

Michael: No I was thinking about the project, you know? I’m frustrated of the results we got after months of work.

You: Maybe you guys really need a week of rest, don’t you think?

Michael: [Your name] you just read my mind. I was about to tell you that.

You chuckle along and after few moments of pause..

You: Michael, it means you’re gonna spend more time with me?

Michael looks at you and starts biting his bottom lip and then he licks it. After few minutes he responds

Michael: [Your name] you know it’s impossible for now. But as soon as we finish the project, I’ll take you to Disney world and we are gonna have fun together.

You immediately starts to laugh nervously

Michael: What?

You: Disney world? Am I a child for you?

Michael: Pardon?

You: Do you really believe that I’ll go to Disney world with you as a f**ing child?! We already discussed about it, I need serious stuff.

Michael: What “serious stuff”?

You: When are we gonna have romantic moments?!

Michael: We are having it now

You: NO I MEAN, SERIOUS ROMANTIC MOMENTS!

Michael: I don’t understand..

You: That’s the problem, you don’t understand. My friends always laugh at me because I didn’t even had my first time with my bf yet! They all had it.

Michael: Ooh, now I see..so it’s like a race for you, huh?

You: It’s not a race-

Michael interrupted

Michael: I always try to give you my time, my money, all the attentions I could. You know my lifestyle. I’m not like other people.

You: YOU CHOOSE NOT TO BE!!

People starts looking at you

Michael: Could you please low your tone?

You: What’s problem?! Don’t you find me enough attractive??

Michael: What are you talking about?

You: You know!

Michael: Listen, I- I didn’t had time for that, okay? If that’s what you’re looking for, then you’ll gonna have it. But not now.

You: And so, when?

Michael: When the right time comes

You: The truth is that you don’t want me at all.

Michael: Don’t say that, you’re hurting me now [your name]. I don’t understand why you’re treating me like this, tonight.

You: Because I’m tired of your excuses.

Michael: No, there’s no excuses. I’m sorry if I don’t fit your “guy dreams” but you knew my lifestyle from the start.

You: I know you still think about her

Michael: Pardon?

You: I’m talking about Diana.

Michael: Don’t bring her into this now.

You: Oh are you protecting her?! I know you want her! I saw the picture you kept on your room!

Michael: The picture has no point. It’s just a memory of an old friend of mine.

You: What memory?

Michael: [Your name]-

You: Don’t say it.

You start crying out of sadness and angry

You: I knew it, you still loves her! I should’ve seen it coming. You just used me as a way to forget her..

Michael: No! That’s a lie! What are you-

You: It’s over.

Michael: Huh?!

Michael is taken aback and completely speechless

You: I can’t take it anymore. I tried, I really tried to understand you but..I deserve more.

Michael: But girl, I need you! I’m sorry if I made you feel poorly. I-

You: Michael, it’s over. It’s the best for the both of us.

You left him there, he stood still before started crying silently.

Two years later, after the Thriller album came out, you felt the need to get close to him again. But he moved on.

He was dating Brooke Shilds and was the best selling artist of all time.

You tried to wrote him letters begging him to love you again, saying sorry for your behavior..but he never responded.

And..

On 1988, during the recording of “Leave me alone” mv..you had the answers you were looking for :

You really hurt, you used to take and deceive me
