i rediscovered this old blog of mine and i might be making a comeback to the skyrim rp scene, so there is that!!

its been a long time since ive been around these parts dang life stuff just started happening and didnt really stop and now i am in college like wow its been a while hasn’t it?

i really dont remember what ended up taking my time away from rping or this really nice community for so long, or if its even active anymore- but it might be worth a shot to give this a try

ANNOUNCEMENT

HEYO guys no worries about me, I've just been busy lately!  I graduate in about 5 weeks, so had a lot to do!  Prom was last saturday, and senior skip day was monday, so I haven't had a lotta time to sneak online sobs.  I will however, have plenty of time tomorrow because I think I'll sit out of my bros trackmeet and stay home, so i can get to ALL my replies then!  Thanks for being patient with me bbs, I missed you guys!! T^T)

Curse mortality. She thought as she sneezed, her body slumping in the saddle as she urged Alastar forward on the path to Riften. She had come down with a case of the flu, all thanks to those stupid greymages.

But she couldn’t let that stop her from picking up her delivery from Ingun. Besides, she might have new contracts to settle. Without realizing it, she took the usual shortcut through Relil’s valley and sniffled as she kept her eyes ahead.

She sneezed again, which was sure to alert one or more of the valley’s inhabitants.

A nearby elk did indeed show up a few moments later, moving towards Alastar.  It cocked it's bony head to the side, antlers pointing towards the cave in which Relil resided.  It was a clear message- Relil wanted to see Symone, and soon.

He had probably hear her sneezing- it was quite difficult not to, seeing as the valley echoed at times and the sneezes were quite loud.

No Will Is Stronger Than That Of The Undead || Relil & Symone

Symone smiled at him, amused at his response before she tilted her head and thought for a moment. She could tell him about the time she was captured by a legion of Falmer and held captive underground for a few weeks. Or perhaps she could tell him about the time she had to disguise herself as one of Azura’s devout worshippers in order to gain access to the Shrine without any trouble… No. She had it.

She would tell him something more personal. Something of more sentimental value. “I’ll tell you about the day Alastar and I were taken away from each other.” She said finally, with a nod of her head.

Oh!  What an interesting story this was going to be!  He knew for sure that it was going to be a bit sad- Symone and Alastar were best, best friends!  She had known the horse far longer than she had known Relil, and he knew that.  Luckily for Alastar, he was a horse, and Symone's protector, so he was the one being that Relil didn't mind sharing SOME of her attention with.  

He wiggled excitedly in her lap and waited for her to begin the story.  Hopefully it would end happily- after all, she had ridden in on Alastar the very same day.  If he was still here, then the story HAD to end happily!

As the Dunmer and the elk came upon the stream, her effervescent white gaze settled on the boy. Her eye lids lowered slightly, and the urge to sigh was refrained. She only looked back toward the elk and nodded her thanks before she moved forward and sat down on the ground a couple of yards away from here. You know I’m here. She thought silently, her gaze lingering on his back. You’ve known I was here from the moment I crossed the border. You’re not stupid; I know you can smell and hear me.

Her elven ears gave a twitch at the words that she picked up from his muttering, and a small, sad smile graced her features as she looked down at the crown of flowers in her hand. They were hyacinths — one of her favorite types of flowers really. Beautiful, violet-blue in color, and sweet in fragrance. The elf remained silent for what seemed like ages as she stared at those flowers before she began repeating the boy’s words softly.

“Stupid? Hm, perhaps. I haven’t always made the wisest decisions in my life. Unneeded? The world has already made that much clear enough. Many would find an unhappy mer such as myself very unnecessary in their lives.” She almost gave a bitter laugh at the thought.

“Alone? Well, that is what I have been for most of my years, I must say… And friend?” She paused for a considerable amount of time. “… Sometimes I think that I don’t even know what that word means.”

He could indeed hear her, and knew she was there, but still continued to mutter anyways.  Relil could hear her when she started to talk, just as well as he could hear the footsteps of the disobedient elk that had led her to him.  Just as he could hear Marrow's screeching in the distance.  

"I think you're necessary " he muttered, "but I guess you don't feel the same.  You didn't even remember me."  It was clear he hadn't known about the intervention of the grey-mages, and while he had realized it was a spell, he was a child, and thus logically speaking, didn't quite connect that a younger body included a younger mind.  Then again, he had been a child for so long, perhaps he had simply disregarded that fact all together.

“That’s a shame, poor thing.” The womer was sympathetic; sweets often hurt her teeth and she did not partake much. Bitter wine was her substitute. 

“Do you need a room or a place to sleep then?” No parents or guardians (she assumed), sensitive stomach, the least she could do was offer sleeping space. Ceirria found it strange she suddenly had this maternal instinct, but in reality it was nothing new, just something buried. 

“Can’t leave you out in the cold, can I?”

It was a fair assumption, as no one was around that seemed to know him, and he was allowed to wander on his own at night.  A sleeping place would be... problematic, though.  That is, unless he could explain why he needed it to be very, very dark.  "Thank you!"  He beamed, a childish lilt working its way into his voice.

"If you have somewhere dark I can sleep, I'll take you up on that offer!  I'm afraid I'm really sensitive to light too- I'm a bit sickly sometimes," he said by way of explanation, bluffing his way through it.  She already thought he was a weak child, at least he assumed so, as he had played it off like he had a sensitive stomach.  It would go well with the rest of his explanation at the very least.

‘So that’s how!’

She picked up one of the screws sitting nearby and turned it between her fingers, then reached out a hand for the tool Relil was holding. 

‘I’ve often wondered,’ she said. ‘I saw the holes for the screws in the broken automatons I’ve found, and I knew they must keep it all together somehow, but pushing and hammering them in didn’t work at all. Of course, the Dwemer would come up with something so ingenious.’

Relil let her take the tool, and even pointed out another screw so that she could try it out for herself.  "Remember to twist left- it gets looser if you twist to the left, and tighter if you twist to the right.  I have to agree, it really is brilliant of them!"  He would never have thought to use a screw to hold the metal in place, and had actually attempted pastes and welding, but that made repair near-impossible.

"You can get to wires a lot easier this way too, which I think is how they kept their machines running so well!"

Maasli observed him for a moment. ‘Is it really that bad?” He asked next. “Whatever it is… It won’t bother me.” He offered a sincere smile to Marrow. It couldn’t be that bad, now could it?

Marrow shook his head yes to the first question, and no to the second statement.  His voice really WAS that bad, and it would probably bother Maasli.  He seemed a bit skittish, though, so opening his mouth to speak and instead having many garbled, whispered words and voices emerge was probably not a good decision..

“Yup,” she nodded, “Just like you are. I’m not from here, though.”

Henrietta twirled around as if to show off her small frame and smiled back at him with a toothy smile, “I’m from Cyrodiil. That’s why I only go out at night. For the ones here they just sort of get a headache. I light on fire! That’s not very fun. Being on fire, I mean. Have you ever been on fire? I was once. Not all the way through, only a little bit. I didn’t like it.”

He grinned back.  "Me too!"  He exclaimed.  "I've been on fire once too- it was awful," he said empathetically.  "Though that was only once!  I wear a thick cloak now and drink a lotta blood, and that usually prevents the whole fire bit," he explained.  He too was of the Cyrodiilic strain, though most around these parts were part of the Sanguine strain.
