“ i do try my best! ” she chirps, visibly getting more and more jittery and excited as the conversation continues. there’s enough to keep track of now that her thoughts are only half making sense, but she does manage to put them together enough to be understandable, pulling out her phone to search for materials she can order. “ i’ve made a few cosplays for fun in my day, but i prolly can’t make a couple of whole outfits from scratch. so i’ll find a lobster costume and a featherman costume and we can just make a couple of additions? ”
“sounds good to me.” his hand immediately went to rest on his chin. an usual gesture that came naturally when he started thinking and overall, just getting inspiration. “i have a few ideas we can implement on the costumes themselves, to make them more... unique. but i would like to hear first what exactly you have in mind.”

It’s really sad when people think just because you see the potential for a romantic/sexual ship between your characters that it’s all you want from them. I only wanna write things we’re both interested in, I’m not interested in forcing anything on you. Just because I’d be happy to ship with you doesn’t mean if you’re not interested that I won’t still want to write with you? That’s just one idea, there are always so many other kinds of dynamics we could pursue between our muses. Romantic/sexual ships are not everything.

The exciting part of roleplaying is writing complex relationships with all of you! I’m interested in your character because of their feelings and opinions, not in spite of them. I love when characters disagree, I love unrequited feelings, I love when two characters loathe each other, I love to explore realistic relationships with individual flaws and strengths based off of our muses’ personalities and histories. I’m never expecting your muse to respond to mine in a specific way, I live to be surprised by other people’s characters, and I would hope my RP partners feel the same way about mine! That’s what collaborative writing is all about.

it’s lunch time and he is THANKFUL to god that sakura sojiro crossed his path because this man has been feeding him so much he already feels like he owes him the world. the bento was full as well as the cafeteria area and even when he didn’t mind eating elsewhere for some reason he was PERSISTENT about eating there. as all the tables were full, he started searching in hope of a FAMILIAR face and certain someone called his attention. sure, he doesn’t know her that well but he helped her once and... that counted right?

a small grunt could be heard as he continued moving the pencil against the blank piece of paper, moving the book to different sides as he attempted to keep drawing. but something was making uncomfortable and that something actually had a name. “did you know is bad manners to peek at what others are doing?”

futaba leaned in close to watch the video on yusuke’s phone, her head tilted a little; she is absolutely DELIGHTED when she looks up at him again, mauve eyes sparkling as she bounced. “ INARI! ” she really didn’t need to be so loud, he was right there, but her mind was working a mile a minute. “ this is just surreal enough to be your kind of thing, but even aside from that! we should put YOU in a lobster suit! like you’re the almighty father of tommy and larry and you have to come collect them so that they stop messing with the feathermen! oh my god – you’re the LOBSTER GOD! ”
“i see you have quite the eye, futaba.” he would be lying if he didn’t admit that he felt flattered upon be called the lobster god. it was a statement that couldn’t be RIDICULOUS for someone else, but for yusuke? that was probably the BEST compliment he could ever receive from the hacker. “i like the idea, in fact i can even decide my own costume, however we will need someone to create it. do you know how to sew by any chance? also, i have another idea. why don’t you appear as featherman?”

❛ did i say something? ❜ it’s not unusual for his attention to wander elsewhere at any given moment, but now when yusuke asks him what exactly he meant, minato can’t furnish a suitable answer. ❛ oh, ❜ & he watches yusuke’s brush drag along a pristine canvas, bright colors a contrast from his previous works. ❛ i guess i just meant that everything’s moving faster than i can keep up with. feels like some choices are made for me and there’s nothing i can do about it. ❜
“you talk and don’t realize it? oh.” if you hear closely you can tell he was TEASING, his eyes still glued to the piece of paper as his hand was moving on its own. “sometimes doing nothing is doing everything.” and if there was a BETTER time to get philosophical, was this. “the world always spin too fast, but thankfully we have the choice to keep up or stay behind. is there something specific worrying you?”

❛ hmm? ❜ perhaps it’s too unintelligible a response to be taken seriously, but it’s clear enough that minato is unaware of where his concern stemmed from. in fact, the only reason he’d noticed that yusuke was speaking to him at all was because of his pacing around the room in order to gather the things necessary for their apparent… fishing excursion.
❛ worrying about me somehow lead to a fishing trip? ❜ —he won’t ask if yusuke even knew the basics of their new hobby or not. minato couldn’t crush his spirit. ❛ why fishing? ❜
in all honesty, yusuke’s mind worked DIFFERENTLY than the usual. for some reason he came with ideas like that because they seem AMAZING in his head. he was an eccentric person after all, and that mean that obviously his thoughts and ideas worked the same way. “yes.” he didn’t even HESITATE in replying because it sounded like something normal to him. “i have been wanting to try it for quite some time already. hmm perhaps it’s just my selfish desire of bringing you around?” he was probably talking to himself at the moment. “you’re not really complaining though.”

“ i’m doing much better now that you’re here ! ♡ ” tsunoda smiles sweetly with the small tilt of her head , lifting her entangled hands higher so that he’d have an easier time untying her from this rather unforgiving mess. then once she’s free , she lets out a wistful sigh alongside the melodic hum of ‘ my herooo ! ’
“ what do i owe your chivalrous effort , a kiss ? ” she teases , not really meaning it aside from wanting to see if it might bring a certain hue to his cheeks.
still with delicacy, we made the last efforts to untangle completely the net from her hands. after he was done, he decided to take it over and fold it before handing it to her, as he supposed that was the main reason why she got stuck on it. at the same time, he could tell this was definitely a CHEERFUL person, thing that didn’t matter to him but the things she said were kind of WEIRD for him.
deadpan as always, yusuke looked back at her. questioning, wondering... maybe silently judging. “i am afraid i must decline that offer for now. i don’t even know your name.” his head slightly tilted with curiosity. “do you go there offering kisses to everyone?”
