oh my GOD i love your blog!!!!! this is like?? the only time i ever felt so happy to follow someone!!! ily!!!
Holy cow I'm glad you like it so much!!! That makes me very happy :)))
wow, you are such an amazing photographer, and your plant collection is amazing! love your blog :-)
Thank you very much!! My plant collection will only continue to grow >:)
(sorry i have another question from the last ask) if you made your journal, how did you do it ?? okay now I'm done :))
I didn't make the one I am using now, but I have made a few of the journals that I've posted pics of. Usually I start with a cheap paperback notebook and add pages/ a cardboard cover/ pockets etc, using that as the base. I have made a few art journals for other people, and for those I staple chunks of pages together and then use hotglue to connect them to a spine made of cardboard or fabric.
Looooook what I got for Christmas!!! It's a grow-box to keep all my littlest children happy over the cold Canadian winter :)
Hello 😊 I don't know if you have much experience in this, but I wanted to ask how you deal with plant infestations? I've had issues with scale bugs for a year now, and despite replanting cuttings and disposing of old plants, using bug sprays and isolating plants, I can't get rid of them. Any ideas?
I have lots of experience dealing with infestations; I work the garden supply/pesticide counter at one of Canada's largest garden centers! First off, are you dealing with mealybugs or something else? If it's possible to DM me a pic or two of the infestation I can diagnose it a lot better and offer specific advice.
Most of the plants on my balcony have gone dormant for the winter and it's too cold to go out and enjoy them, so I've taken up indoor gardening instead 🌴🌿 here are some highlights from my livingroom this season:)
So I’ve decided (after I huge but unnecessary breakdown this morning) to cut the crap and get it together, but I don’t know where to start and I was wondering if you had any tips on self improvement and how to stick to it once you start?
This is a big question with a lot of good answers (maybe some in the comments?) But my biggest piece of advice is to do a little bit of work towards your goals every day. Every. Single. Day. Doesn't have to be a lot of work, it can be as little as drawing a line on a page, but stick to the schedule and do it every day. You'll find that getting started is the hardest part, because after you've drawn that first line, it's 1000x easier to draw the next one.
So I have 0 friends-and I do mean 0. This bugs me a little, but it bugs my dad quite a bit, more so because I don’t leave the house than lack of friends, but lack of friends too. My other family members REALLY don’t like it, and I don’t like it that much, but I don’t dislike it either ya know? So what do you think I should do? Say f u anxiety and go out into the world? Or just do whatever I’m comfortable doing now? I’m lost on this
I would say that if you are finding fulfillment in your life as it is now, keep living it just as you are. If you feel like you are missing out on some part of the human condition that you wish you could experience, then it is time to confront the thought patterns that are holding you back.
I made a tiny living scene inside a glass box with moss, rocks, and a small fern :)
I was growing a bunch of little plants under a grow-light display at work, but we had to move the display so I got to take them all home :3 each plant in the box has a story and all of them were grown from clippings or saved from the compost <3
Growing some little baby succulents, a few types of moss, and pea-shoots!
Art journal pages from August-October. Having fun doing lots of weird art this season, getting lost in lines and patterns and really enjoying layering faces and drawing visceral things :D
This blog is so good vibes-ey ❤ I love it so much, thanks for the inspiration!
I'm very happy to have inspired you :D I hope you have an amazing day!!
aloe vera is poisonous to cats! they generally stay away from them because they're rubbery but its poisonous
Thank you!! Good to know, sorry for spreading false info!!

Hey! I saw you told that anon about philodendrons but these are also toxic to cats! 😲
