One of the fakest people you’ll ever have the displeasure of meeting. Befriended his sorry ass nearly a month ago and regretted it since. I normally don’t invest much romantic whimsy on this site, but I was drawn to him from the start. After hitting it off the first week, he wanted me to “consider” being his partner. Note he was already in a “open” relationship with a chick he met 2 weeks before me, but he insisted she wouldn’t mind. That should have been a red flag, but ignored it because flirting with him was fun. Apparently he wanted to attempt long distance with me (he lives in Florida(even it says Puerto Rico), I live in Texas)
The following week he asked if I would marry him and change my name to “Kiara” (seems he had a thing for Lion King 2) and I figured why not because I’d get a name change token and he seemed chill (ended things with his previous girl). I told him from the start, that my time online was spotty because of my busy lifestyle and he claimed he understood (we even shared numbers). Turns out it was a front, and his insecurities showed their ugly head in passive aggressive bullshit.
He then ended our short-lived marriage (without telling me) and went back to his previous girlfriend (without telling me and denying it, claiming I was the first name in his interests). I ended up blocking him and changing my name a few days ago. Just before I blocked him from my phone, he sent me an angry barrage of texts, calling me a bitch. I started reading it until I read “bitch”, then just deleted the thread (not going to waste my time reading that garbage). Lesson? Don’t waste your expectations on the man babies of IMVU. Now meeting romantic interests on IMVU, I have heard some wonderful stories (some even marry in real life), but they are far in between all the shallow and discord.
