Maybe all the constipation you experience during pregnancy is helping build up the muscles needed to push. Trying to find a purpose for all this misery.

Multitasking

Husband: “It’s really annoying when you/your friends/women make jokes about men not being able to do more than one thing at a time. Men are just as capable of multitasking as women and it’s really rather sexist and blah blah blah…”

Me: “Yes dear, that’s terrible of us, really. Now can you hand me the plate you’ve been washing for the past five minutes while you’ve been talking? I think it’s been properly sanitized by now and I should probably dry it and put it away.”
