Trying To Get Out Of Canada's Texas

So me and my family are homeless living in Alberta. The political situation though is making that next to impossible due to attacks on disability and queer rights, both of which are relevant to my family.

We need to get out of here, but our van is in serious need of repairs. Most notably pur tires need replacing as we'll have do mountain driving to get us somewhere safer.

We also have immediate needs like food, gas, and storage bills to cover. So help is deeply appreciated and makes an immediate impact to us

Getting Into 2026

So we've been through a lot this year, from multiple car breakdowns, to doing a farmers market this summer, and finding a new sense of direction with a far clearer vision of what we need to do. The weather is still absolutely freezing, and we'll need money for food & gas along with upkeep on our van so it hopefully makes it through the rest of the winter.

We are going through a lot of gas due to how poorly insulated our vehicle is, and are scared that we're gonna get sick or worse due to the freezing temperatures.
