Photoshop. All Photoshop (CS6, to be specific). But some are done traditionally, too.

We're in the midst of election time! I've been told this looks a little reminiscent of Bee and Puppycat, of to which I say yay cuz I like that show. I finally used this style my sketchbook is stuffed with for the Ubyssey! The character is inspired by a mix between Alan Rickman in Bottle Shock and Anton Ego from Ratatouille. The thought bubbles were supposed to illustrate ingredients that would never be in wine, but I just looked them up and it turns out they all can be! How disappointing. That's why we must properly do our research first, boys and girls. I still like it as a drawing anyway.

Tomorrow's front cover drawing: about 14 UBC teams have not yet been guaranteed varsity status (read more>>) so we used the old high school who-gets-picked-last metaphor to illustrate it.
