       his reluctance is clear in his voice, even despite how it’s muffled by the door. vaguely, she wonders if he realizes she terrorizes him jokingly. for someone who seems so calm and collected, minato has the strangest ways of reacting to things ! which is completely why she chases him around. it’s all in good fun ! she wouldn’t actually cut his hair ! … probably. however, even despite it, the scissors still snip as she offers a thoughtful hum, miss people person herself kotone attempting to put herself in minato’s mindset. what would he do in this situation ? just lay there, counting the seconds down to demise, perhaps ? but he can be oh, so, unpredictable ! ❝ hmn… ❞ and it’s because she doesn’t know that kotone agrees. ❝ well, alright ! but don’t take too long ~ !  ❞ 

           ... actually, rather than take the drastic way out  ( which, although a fun idea to contemplate, is not very realistic ) , perhaps he can use her own lock on his demise and turn it against her? kotone certainly would not allow him even the slightest chance to slip through her grasp and escape to freedom while she stood stalwart at his door, but perhaps if he enlisted the help of a forceful distraction...? with all hopes on his savior, he snatches up his phone and immediately texts aigis.

           his stare bores into the phone screen as he awaits a reply, counting the seconds that pass. this has to work. he doesn’t want to resign himself to a haircut. please. please.

          oh, he won’t get away that easily. it’s almost cute how he thinks he can ! they’re both rather efficient with their time ( when they want to be, that is ). which is to say, when kotone has a goal, she plans her days accordingly. tracking her quiet co-leader so she can corner him effectively ? it’s something done easily enough. fully aware she has him in her grasps, the reaper resembling that of kotone shiomi laughs. she giggles as her weapon of choice snips, snips, snips, in a sadistic sort of way, the knuckles of her free hand knocking in rhythm upon his door.

    ❝ i know you’re in there… ~  ❞ she sings her words, fully aware of how terrifying she seems in all her 5′3″ glory. ❝ i asked aigis earlier, you know ? no use pretending ! ❞

            betrayed by aigis... how could she? now, he faces this fearsome enemy alone. if his deception has failed, he must cast aside his wishful thinking  —  knowing kotone, even if he was actually asleep, she’d march right in and start snipping away at this hair regardless. since she knows he’s in here, hiding is no use, and there’s no way she’d allow him to slip past her. perhaps the window is an option? jumping from the second floor doesn’t seem too bad, if there’s something below to break his fall. it’s quite the tempting idea... but he’ll need to buy some time first.     ❛   ... give me a few minutes to get up.   ❜

       ❝ minato ~ ! i’m here, juuuust like i promised ! ❞ here being his room. of which he can’t escape. because she’s smiling so cheerfully and blocking the route of opportunity. the pair of scissors glint in her raised hand. what will fellow leader minato arisato do ? // @indivinate​

          ❛   .........   ❜     he’s known for a while: his day of doom is inevitable. the reaper never waits, and the haunting snip snip snip echoes down the halls until finally she stops at his door, ready to pounce. he weighs his options: maybe, if he stays still under the covers, she’ll think there’s just an odd pile of pillows underneath his blanket and the room is actually vacant. or, if he pretends to be asleep, she’ll magically have mercy and delay his fate for another day. escape is not an option  —  her ambush has sealed their confrontation. what will he do?  ( well, it’s easiest to stay still and hope for the best. )
