“Well, what do we have here? What do you want? Friend of Artie’s?” The King stated, referring to the Saber by the name of Artoria, probably should of said that. This person wouldn’t know his pet name. Whoops. 

“Artie? Never heard of them.” He had a suspicion he knew whom this one was talking about, but it was easier to not disclose such details haphazardly. “Guess I was curious. You have a rare air to you that I’ve been known to spot. You someone I should be aware about?”

“Ha...well I guess I don’t see anything wrong with that.”

Though I think    I would find myself enlighten through    your telling.                                                  ❞         She pauses her line of questioning, though ponders if it is a good idea for her to tag along into a singularity like this. Though there were places they were free to roam within reason, that is to say it was a bit uncertain for someone like the Caster to pry through. Feeling that if she had it would make her presence more concious toward others around them if they caught into trouble. She was known as Caster and only wished to be surmised as much, what she did was  something of which she wanted no one to know. The less people who knew, the better.

Her initial reaction put him off somewhat, as though surprised that her fire could suddenly burn out so fast. Then again, perhaps he was simply working too. Maybe there was even restrictions concerning the singularities themselves. He frowned at the thought, wondering if Fuyuki wasn’t actually available for him to enter again.

“Fair enough. I suppose asking you out on a date so soon would be distasteful.” He wrote it off as a joke as well as he could. “So how bout I refill your glass and then I can tell you more.”

Is it just like how it is on the Tv?    Are there a million people on the trains?     ❞          The caster pours life into her questions having completely and nearly forgotten about the food promised to her. It was evident she was a bit to obsessed over this land called Japan.

“Whoa-.”

The explosion of questions caught him off guard. Quite frankly, it was adorable and he was happy to see someone so actively seeking knowledge and experience. An idea immediately came to mind. “Well then, I could answer all those questions of yours but...” He gave her a smile.

“Wouldn’t you rather see it for yourself?”

Oh theres   so much I would love to try from eastern   provinces!                                                       ❞           The Caster was a hungry women it would seem, she could gouge a whole buffet if she wasn’t careful.

He raised a hand to his chin, mulling over her question for a moment. At this point, it wasn’t just feed her. It was a competition to impress her with his best work.

“Eastern dishes, eh? Well, I was born in Japan myself so it would be of great disservice to my home if I couldn’t whip you up something half-decent. I’m sure I could make something worth your while.”

I was ready to try such a thing,     I have never come across such luxuries so    in earnest I was quite excited.                        ❞            Meryln drinks the cold milk allowing its texture and coolness press along her tongue and down through her throat. It was so comforting and enjoyable, the woman decided to dunk the warm cookie within the milk. Nibbling on a piece with a dreamy sigh. ❝ Nothing compares to genuine food,      that in itself is a magic unlike any other.    ❞  

The line “flatter gets you nowhere” was such a boldface lie, for as the woman spoke kindly of his food, he couldn’t help but smile. it was always appreciated when people genuinely enjoyed what he brought to the table, especially considering he could only do so much on his own on the battlefield.

“Sweets are only part of the arsenal at my disposal, I’m happy to say. If you want more, I’d be happy to cook more for you. Hell, ask for a particular dish, I’d be happy to make my own take on it.”

❝ I’m having one!!     ❞            Inviting herself she snatches a cookie from the plate and immediately shuffles it into her face. It was so hot though, she sits there with her mouth open trying to blow the cookie upon her tongue. ❝ OWW! OWW!    ❞  

He didn’t even have time to warn her about how bad an idea that was before immediately bit down into one. A deep sigh was emitted at her response, predictable as it was. Walking out of the hall and back in quickly, he returned with a glass of cool milk, offering it to her.

“They’re pretty fresh, so maybe a minute or two wouldn’t hurt. My apologies, should have warned you.”

The little lion smelt something delicious. something that smelled like pappa’s cooking. she went to investigate, leaping onto the table and sniffing the liquid. she makes a scrunchy face at it and laps at it with her tongue briefly before making a sickened face and pushes the cup off the table. such nasty stuff is inedible after all.

the biscuits on the other hand….

These she happily sits on the table to consume greedily.

The Archer, whilst away from the situation, simply hummed to himself, brewing up the next pot of tea and baking the next pan of cookies. It wasn’t until the shattering of the cup that he was alerted and rushed back into the hall. 

“Don’t worry, I’ll clean it up, it’s no-”

Oh damn, it was that lion thing wasn’t it?!

“Hey hold on, you can’t just eat all of them, you’ll make yourself sick!”

“That, would be my signature handcrafted “Spice” Cookies. A mix of sweet and spice that makes every bite special.”

The likelihood of someone having an “interesting” day was really quite high, he suspected. Tea and biscuits would likely be the pick-me-up they needed from that. So, he would just leave them on a table in the dining hall, making sure to exchange them out for fresher stuff later. None of it went to waste, either stored or handled otherwise. But after dealing with this particular day of the week a few times, he was prepared.

When he released her hand and took a step back, Reiko lowered her hand back down to her side while Archer told her that it was indeed his plan on staying here in the park for the night. She looked up at him and nodded a little in agreement, even if she bit her lip ever so slightly feeling bad at the moment. Could she really let him sleep out here? Yes, she just met him but she could offer something.

“Yes, you’re right Archer. I should be getting home but I’d feel bad for leaving, knowing that you would be out here. I know we just met not long ago but I have a couch you can crash on for the night. I mean you like.  It would be more comfortable than out here. “ She offered him with more wider smile.

She did hope that Archer didn’t think she was crazy inviting a stranger home with her. She knew she could take care of herself, as if walking around in the middle of the night wasn’t proof of it but Reiko left the offer there for him just in case anyway.

“Sounds dangerous for the both of us.” It was a more joking statement than anything. Apparently he seemed trustworthy to her despite the fact that he was apparently some homeless guy living in the park. Then again, he had been told before that he had that sort of effect on others, despite how he may argue against it.

“Hm. Well, I’m not really gonna say no to a pretty woman asking me to come home with her, but I’m not going to do it for free. Doesn’t sit well with me. I’m good with my hands, so cooking and repair work is something I can do for you. I also clean. Whatever you have me do, I’ll do it.”

There really wasn’t any reason to say no. Sure, if he had asked it would have been rather creepy, but clearly she felt comfortable enough to offer. He wasn’t the kind of guy to take advantage of that either, but a place to actually sleep on, even a couch, would be a nice change of pace.
