Opening the door to her flat after a particular hard day at the tavern, the feline was pretty exhausted but she froze seeing Nezumi standing there pouring himself a drink. Eyeing the smirk, she closed the door and set her things down after taking off her shoes before making her way over to him smirking back at him.
“I wasn’t expecting company this evening but thank you for the welcome and the drink. ”
Reiko said taking the shot from him, downing it then setting the glass down. She plopped herself on the couch to relax, resting her legs on the arm.
“Hmm…it’s was definitely a day….I had to break up three fights and throw idiots out of the tavern because they kept breaking the rules….I don’t normally have this much issue but drunk idiots never learn. How was your day my dear~?”
Nezumi waited for Reiko to accept the drink and make herself comfortable. He sat down on the armrest of the sofa, a half-seated position with one leg dangling and supporting him on the floor. He leaned on a thigh, bidding his time, and when she seemed to unwind and relax, he shrugged in response.
"The usual." He was never one to share much. "Sounds like you've had a rough day, indeed," he agreed and poured her more whiskey.
"But I promise that I can make it much better. Help you release all that pent-up frustration," Nezumi winked. "So why don't you wash off the pub stench and replace it with some blood and gore? I've located a brand new nest—ghouls or some shit. They keep stealing from a local shelter but might move onto the nearby kindergarten when they run out of dogs."
